Bugs!! LOTS of big giant cockroaches and water bugs. The stay would have been absolutely perfect if it wasn't for that. They have sticky traps behind the furniture and the room we had (302) was full and it hadn't been changed in a while. I was very excited about staying somewhere more nice than we usually do, however it wasn't as pleasant as we thought it would be. The service is pretty good and the employees are very nice. I didn't bother reporting it because we were going to bed and I knew that it probably had bugs all throughout the hotel from the amount we saw in just one room .

The room had an odor to it the carpet smelt of mold the AC unit was leaking the walls were not painted by a professional it was very obvious the bathroom fixtures had red rust around the rim of the drain and clearly needed to be resurfaced. The towels had stains on them.

Biggest cockroaches I’ve ever seen. At least the size of a full-grown man’s big toe. One was even in the toilet when we lifted the lid. Took two flushes to get it down which brings me to the toilet which wouldn’t flush until I fixed it. Sprayed the whole bathroom and me in the process. Several other smaller bugs were also in the bathroom. Those only took one flush. There was no shampoo in the shower. There were white crumbs below the curtains by the air conditioner. We didn’t arrive until midnight and were exhausted so we didn’t feel like finding other accommodations. We killed all the bugs except one which disappeared and we couldn’t locate it “slept” in our clothes and hit the road as soon as we were able that morning. Obviously skipped breakfast. The lobby was deceiving. Appeared to be quite clean. We reported the problems and did receive an apology. Check-in date was 06-18-2025.

This is THE BEST Best Western Hotel in Texas! The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the grounds are well manicured and the breakfasts are great! It’s pet friendly and has wonderful large rooms that are disabled/handicap accessible. There are fast food places within walking distance to this hotel. 5 stars isn’t enough! Great management and great employees make this place shine!

Wonderful customer service, all employees were friendly and offered assistance and help, encouraging any request. Pet friendly and offers close accessibility to Walmart and restaurants. Excellent Breakfast with options to suit dietary needs. Will return in the future.

The room I was given smelled horrible. When asked about the smell they said a guest with a pet stayed in the room last night. I asked to switch rooms. The receptionist called the manager and I overheard the manager ask if I was a member, when they said no, they said I had to stay in the room, even though they had 7 empty rooms….after speaking to ******* they were able to switch rooms. The new room however, had a running and very noisy toilet. But at least it didn’t smell of stinky animals.

Was in town for a wedding and the entire team was great from start to finish. Ms. Christina and team are absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was awesome that thicccccc Texas waffle really hit the spot. Also the hotel is extremely clean you can tell they take a lot of pride in where they work. Great leadership!
