Just what anyone would ask for. This place has a great location, affordable pricing, and offers a decent breakfast. They care about their patron. We were running late and they called to make sure I was still on the way. I thought that was great service. The room although not huge was perfect for my wife and I for the weekend getaway.

Best mattresses I've slept on in a hotel, asked the manager if she knew the brand so we could purchase one for our home. She was very helpful. Will stay again on our next trip to Traverse City! Close to downtown and very quiet and clean. Breakfast was good and hot

The room was nice and so was the staff. Very clean, the person at the front desk was very helpful. Wish they offered breakfast. Wish I could have walked to the beach from the room. Didn't get a chance to check out the gym. I did MapQuest and they took me to a different location but thankfully I made it to the right location.

Great staff with kudos to Caroline who went out of her way to help us with tv tech issues. She was kind, professional and diligent. The hotel was immaculate, with comfy beds and hard surface floors. The breakfast provided was very nice with lots of options. The 24/7 coffee and water was delicious and a definite "perk". Housekeeping came daily. Would recommend this hotel & would return.

This was my first time trying IHG in over 10 years and my first time in an Avid hotel. I am Titanium with Marriott and Diamond with Hilton and wanted to give this a try while it is still almost new for comparison. Negatives vs. the two aforementioned chains: - No mobile checkin capability - I had to stand in line at the front desk. - Not able to use your cell phone as your room key. - No rewards member dedicated checkin line. - Very limited breakfast selection. - Room does not have a chair other than the desk chair. Positives: - Clean and new hotel. - Fresh ground coffee available 24/7 in lobby and hot water for tea. - Nice variety of snacks available for purchase in the lobby market. - A/C unit was relatively quiet. - Hard surface flooring throughout room is a huge plus. Overall it was good for a work trip to the area.

5-Star Review I had a fantastic experience at Avid Hotel Traverse City, all thanks to Mikala Lindsay, the General Manager. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The customer service was exceptional! The rooms were clean and well-maintained daily, and the hotel's location is unbeatable. The staff were amazing, and I couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. Greta hotel and brand new! Avid is a convenient, easy and comfortable hotel brand with a grab & go breakfast to make a quick weekend trip nice & easy! Plus the gym and pool were top notch. Would definitely stay here on my next visit to traverse city. Plus they have VIP parking for diamond members.

My stay at the newly opened hotel in Traverse City was fantastic! The modern design, coupled with breathtaking views, created a great atmosphere. The rooms were luxurious and well-appointed, ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back.
