Lovely weekend stay in November at this historic venue in a beautiful building. The hosts James and Jane were perfect and very friendly. Breakfast was gorgeous, best fried bread we have ever had. Fresh milk for each room was a great feature and extra was never a problem. Comfortable bed and great nights sleep. Dunster village is a beautiful place. Highly recommend this friendly high quality B&B.

Central location .in a stunning village . A character property tastefully decorated and furnished . Welcoming hosts who went to great pains to anticipate their guests needs with so Many little extras . The included breakfast was freshly cooked and the fried bread was divine.

Had a fabulous short break at this B&B. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is everything you need supplied from tea, coffee and biscuits to a full range of toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful. James and Jane are very friendly and helpful, offering excellent suggestions on restaurants and places to visit. Dunster is a lovely little village with good restaurants and pubs to suit every budget. The wider area is also great to explore we especially enjoyed visiting Lynton and Lynmouth using the open topped bus.

I can’t praise this B&B enough. Chris & Jane were warm and welcoming when we arrived. Our room was lovely, with everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, with a good choice of hot and cold choices. The hot choices being cooked to order with both hosts on hand to make sure we had everything we wanted. Also great location in the village. Could not recommend highly enough and would definitely stay again if visiting the area again.

A weekend stay in the best bed and breakfast - ever. James and Jane have gone the extra mile in providing superb accommodation, a tasty breakfast and a comfortable bedroom with bathroom extras, soft drinks, and tea and coffee available when required. A selection of games in the large sitting room provided us with a fun evening too.

Exmoor House is probably the best B & B we have stayed in.James and Jane are wonderful hosts and know how to run a b&b.The room is spotless and had one of the most comfortable beds i.ve slept in.The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the location is great for Dunster and exploring Exmoor.Please go to the Stags Head just next door a wonderful pub run by Nigel and Jane,when in Somerset again we will definitely return to Exmoor House.

I'm a fan of Exmoor House, and this spring trip was as good as ever ; a friendly welcome, a spotless house, comfortable rooms to give a great night's sleep, super breakfasts and all facilities you'd want. There's nothing to fault. It's not just the hosts, James and Jane, the house, the food the convivial greeting but the delightful village itself. The only word of caution - if you wish to eat in the village the day you arrive, book your restaurant in advance,, they get fully booked earlier than you think.
