Exemplary value for money. The hostesses were very helpful and answered all my questions. The hotel is located 15 minutes from the bus stop that leads to Crescent Lake.

I had 4 nights stay and liked this hostel room spacecious and clean. The owner 'Siao Fang' is very friendly and helpful even knowledgeable if any queries, he would delighted to share and guide you. The cleaning ladies help to clean the room daily and replenishment are sufficient. Hostel in a strategic location about 15 mins walk to D'un Huang night market and you can catch local buses to cressant desert with only RMB2 and Mogao Cave RMB5 only. It is a worth for value and if I have a chance to be back to here in future, this definitely would be my first choice by heart and strongly recommend to all my friends. The decoration style and the overall environment are very nice. It is right at the foot of Mingsha Mountain and surrounded by the desert. The whole environment is very suitable for taking pictures and is worth experiencing. The staff is also very enthusiastic. Due to some problems with our schedule, we arrived at the hotel very late. The service staff waited for us and gave us some snacks. We forgot to bring wine, and the service staff immediately solved the problem of wine for us. It is great to have such service in the desert. Every aspect is very considerate. It makes people feel very happy! I will go again next time if I have the chance.

The front desk lady is very good, the hotel is clean, the room is big and spacious, there is a lot of food downstairs, and it is close to the night market.

The last stop of Zhejiang's self-driving Northwest Great Ring Road, a very pleasant stay, convenient parking, clean and hygienic. It’s also convenient to walk to the middle gate of Mingsha Mountain. There are many special delicacies downstairs, and my wife and daughter were also very satisfied with the flying photos taken in the ”Nayu Flower Room” downstairs of the B&B. Bargaining cantaloupes on the roadside for four for ten yuan, super sweet!

I really enjoyed my first visit to the Northwest. The rolling deserts and angular deserts are so beautiful. You can take photos with just one mobile phone. The double tent we booked was quite spacious for two people, clean and well-equipped, and the sunset was super beautiful. The hot pot is just average. After all, you are not here to experience hot pot in the desert. Beach biking is exciting, and sandboarding is tiring but fun. The experience is perfect.

The hotel is generally good, with good hygiene and decoration, and there is a cute doll in the room. The location of the hotel is very good, right next to the night market, it is very convenient to buy things, and it is only a few minutes away from the boarding point for Dunhuang Station. The bus stop downstairs can take you directly to Mingsha Mountain. The only drawback is that the hot water in the shower head of some rooms is too slow to flow out, and it takes eight or nine minutes to let the water run hot. If you stay for the first time, you may feel that it is broken and can't produce hot water🤪

Very satisfied, just like the photo, the kids like it very much. The contactless butler-style service feels great. The butler will contact us in advance and prepare watermelons for us. It is as warm as returning to our own home in a different place. Because we brought children to stay, the lady thoughtfully put away the knives first to avoid hurting the children. I forgot to take pictures of the room. It was quite clean inside, but the sliding door on one side of the bathroom was a little broken (it could open and close normally). The bedding is comfortable and the foldable clothes hanger is super practical, which is very suitable for families like us who have laundry needs when traveling. There is a supermarket downstairs, parking is available in front of the supermarket, and the barbecue restaurant opposite is delicious. Not far from the night market and Dang River. Stayed for two nights and felt so comfortable that I didn’t want to come back~

The location of the hotel is very good, close to Danghe River and Dunhuang Bookstore. China Car Rental is right in front of the hotel, but the facilities and equipment are a bit old.

From the exterior the Dunhuang Jiayuan Hotel looks like a traditional Chinese hotel. But the room is furnished with all the modern trappings that are so essential to a weary traveler. The bedroom and attached bathroom are very clean, hot showers readily available and the bed comfortable. The hotel is right next to the Shazhou night market and within walking distance to all the transportation hubs which makes visiting Dunhuang attractions easy. And the service team was fantastic. One and all they were approachable and very helpful. The lovely lady who checked us in not only upgraded our room but she even managed to get us seats on a Western Dunhuang tour which was one of the highlights of our already amazing trip! Another recommended local dishes for us to try and we were amused to see the name of one such restaurant on a road sign! In short we love Dunhuang Jiayuan Hotel.
