"Room was cold had to ask reception to put the heat on the next morning not a good night's sleep. With regards to cleanliness this leaves a lot to be desired. Air con vent full of dust, carpets badly stained and thick with dust at the skirting boards, pedal bin in the bathroom rusty a nd surrounded by thick dust. Not a good stay!!!!"

The rooms were a touch dated, they need a refresh. We didn’t have breakfast as the restaurant was closed for renovation - this was made clear on the Premier Inn website."

"Having just returned last Sunday from an amazing 2 night retreat at the lovers lodge, I can honestly say this is the best place I’ve ever been too. The decor, the luxury’s, the views, Sonos speakers! They have thought of everything for an intimate chill getaway. Will definitely be back regularly. I can’t stop thinking of the time we spent there and how magical it was. Little touches like homemade bread and jam waiting for us. Don’t hesitate to book. Go and experience it for yourself and you won’t be disappointed. 10/10"

"The room was very stuffy and the cleaners had sprayed air freshener to try to cover this up but it just made it worse. I soon realised the window didn't open and there was no way to get fresh air into the room. Even on high fan level I couldn't even get the air conditioning to even circulate air within the room and the minimum was set to 19degrees which was considerably warmer than outside."

"We stayed here last weekend the reception team were really nice and helpful the room was an idea size for a family of 4 we had a window of a view of the grass area at the back. the road is close by but we had our windows open at night and it didn’t disturb us. our electric tripped due to the lamp and the kettle going on together we told the reception team who were very quick at getting it sorted. the rooms were clean the beds were comfortable the only thing i’d say is around the taps in the bath could do with a clean but it didn’t affect our experience. Thank you for a lovely stay we will be back."

"I've stayed at Dundee Central Travel Lodge a few times over the last few years. My experience has always been positive. It's in a good location, 5 minutes walk from the town centre and 10 minutes from the railway station. The rooms are a good size, have always been clean and have all the relevant amenities. I've found the staff at the hotel have always been pleasant and helpful. Overall, it's great value for money in a good location and the booking system is quite easy to use. "
