Just back from our 13th visit. This time in the Honeymooners. The Hideaway Experience never fails us. The place is immaculate and ozzes luxury. Caroline Ross and the team go to great care and attention to make this place so special. Sitting in the hottub with it's covered roof bringing in the new year seeing fireworks in the distance was something else. This is a special place to us and we completely relax which is often hard to do. Thanks for the chocolate brownies Caroline they were delicious. Can't wait to come back x

Me and my husband stayed in the romantic's cottage for two days for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day it was like something out of a film for us just perfect, we had everything we needed with us and the place had everything, I did forget one thing and the owners where happy to drop it off right away which was just brilliant I can’t thank them enough for that, The hot tub was a perfect touch and the sound system had speakers in every room playing Christmas songs in the morning while I opening presents and making dinner was just brilliant, I would highly recommend to anyone that just wants a few days to relax and chill out.

The hideaway experience was certainly a 5 star stay. We stayed in the Honeymooners cabin for 2 nights and it was total bliss. We have stayed in various cabins in Scotland and have to rate this one the highest. It ticked every box. Hosts were great, not in your face at all and just allow for a relaxing time away.

I stayed in 'the Romantics', a gorgeous stone cottage with all the luxuries you can imagine. So warm and cosy and beautifully decorated. Highly recommended! Caroline and Ross are such lovely hosts and I loved staying on a working farm in a beautiful quiet location.

Well where do I start, I happened to stumble across The Hideaway Experience when I was searching online for a couple of days away to celebrate our wedding and my graduation. From the moment we got there we knew that we would love our stay. The attention to detail is second to none, from the sauna to the standing bath and hot tub we absolutely loved everything. We have been on many couples overnights and this by far surpassed them all! I especially loved sitting outside and the silence of the location. The 11am checkout was also lovely, we had a relaxed morning and left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We will definitely be back, 5 stars just isn't enough for this venue!

We had a relaxing few days at The Hideaway Experience. It was so peaceful, looking out to beautiful views. We were able to take our two dogs who thoroughly enjoyed themselves, too. The facilities had everything we needed and more, it was very clean and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would have stayed longer if we could, but we will definitely be back for another visit in the near future. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We Stayed in the romantic, was lovely. We were welcomed by the owner and she was really nice . Me and my wife and our wee dog elvis had a great stay here so quite and peaceful. Will definitely be back and probably try one of the other cabins , they looked massive and cracking from a distance. We were supposed to visit in June for our anniversary. But our son broke his leg and weren't able to visit. The hosts were so understanding and let us move to October which is really appreciated.

I’d like to leave a 6! This was our 5th visit to Hideway, the 2nd in the Lovers. What can I say but fantastic. The luxury, quality of amenities, the comfort, the view, ……. It has been cold (Oct) but the hideaway is always warm and cozy. Not even had to fire up the log burner! Caroline and Ross have added a few extras since our last visit and it just gets better. There is also the reassurance that they are always nearby if needed. However, they leave their guests in total seclusion, to relax and enjoy their time together. I would like to add that my wife has limited mobility, this place is perfect for anyone in the same position. There are no steps from the moment you park the car. This makes life so much easier. We will definitely be back.
