Hotel di Qingcheng Piedmont Scenic Area, Dujiangyan

Lovely hotel right beside the sightseeing car that takes you to the front gate of Mount Qingcheng. It is also a short 3 min walk across the station. The interior of the hotel is beautiful. Chinese style. Hotel is new. They even provided us with a lovely fruit platter at checkin and upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi. We spent two nights here. It is also convenient to get to dujiangyan and the panda centers around the region. Highly recommended.

Customer service was excellent as staff were very friendly and proactive to render support. I gave one star for amenities due to food that was not fresh, which probably led to my food poisoning. After eating the buffet breakfast, I suffered from food poisoning. My best guess was the soybean milk or fried fritters (油条) which seemed to be recooked leftovers. Luckily my son and wife did not eat them. During the same buffet breakfast, my wife found the baby tomatoes to be rotten and alerted the chef to remove them. In addition, supper during my second night was cold green bean soup likely to be leftover from my first night supper. Lastly, another minor problem was that my room didn't have any towel rack to hang bath towels which was quite inconvenient. Dryer in washing machines malfunction as my washed clothes were still wet after 3hours of drying.

Yangtianwo, watching Blue Tears can sit at the end of the Bajiao Temple Station~ There is also a bus stop of 101 nearby~ It is very convenient to take a taxi~ The external environment of the homestay is very general, but the space inside is very good, the room space is very spacious, there is a public rest space on each floor, the small yard on the first floor of the hot spring is very beautiful, the open-air bath in winter is very comfortable, a bit like the feeling of living in a hot spring hostel in Japan~ The public space on the top floor is also very good. The hotel parking lot is not well managed. There was water accumulation from the underground parking lot to the hotel elevator entrance for three days (I stayed for three days and two nights). There is no parking lot in front of the hotel. You need to park outside the green belt of the community and walk through the green path with your suitcase (you can't drag it) to get to the hotel lobby. It's really a test for elderly guests. Fortunately, the hotel is quiet and close to the scenic area.

I have to turn off the projector and turn on the air conditioner to mute before going to bed at night to sleep well. However, the bed is very soft. I feel like I am sinking into it when I lie down. I really like it. I can fall asleep immediately on a soft bed. The door of the room is not very soundproof. I was woken up by the children's voice the next morning.
