Gardiner House Hostel

Best option for solo traveller, nice breakfast, friendly staff

I had a wonderful stay at Gardiner House Hostel and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling solo to Dublin. The atmosphere is very welcoming and social, making it easy to meet fellow travelers while still having quiet spaces to relax. The fully equipped shared kitchen is a huge plus—spacious, clean, and has everything you need to prepare your own meals and save some money. Starting the day with the provided breakfast was super convenient and gave a great start to exploring the city. The rooms and common areas are well-maintained, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Location-wise, it’s a pleasant walk to the city center and major attractions. Will definitely stay here again when I'm back in Dublin!

It’s in a really convenient location. Staffs are so friendly and caring. I can get great assistance with their prompt response. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic. I had great time in Gardiner

It was a little hard to find the hostel because the entrance is easy to walk right past, but it is next to a big church building that is pretty hard to miss. The breakfast had eggs, which is a big win in my book. Rooms were clean and beds are in boxes with a curtain that provides nice privacy. I slept quite well here for a couple of nights.

Really nice for the price, good value. Good night sleep. Breakfast was light, as described. Also no towel included

I enjoyed my stay very much. I will use this place again and again. The outdoor hot tub was perfect after walking the Camino from from Bray to Dublin. I booked it for myself for 30 minutes. Now we just need to teach some of the guests to clean up after themselves.

Amazing hostel with super friendly and helpful staff, especially the girl from Brazil at reception (forgot her name 🙈) bed was comfortable, pillow was so snugly, each bed has a mini fan with mirror, lights, charging ports, curtain for privacy etc. Bathroom inside the room were clean, with free towels and ample showers for use! Breakfast was good, continental style, and included in the stay. Thank you again, would recommend highly and definitely stay again!

Very good stay! Bed is nice cuz it fully closes with curtain. Bathroom is always clean and reception is working 24/7!

An amazing place to stay. Super comfortable. Walking distance to city centre. And nearby parks and bus stops.
