We stayed here on a family trip. It's conveniently located near the Dubbo Zoo. There's a river nearby, so we enjoyed a nice walk there in the morning.

I booked this hotel on trip.com for $146.10 but when i checked out I was invoiced $148.29 , extra $2.19 transaction fee, Why??? I thought the full amount is $146.10. I never pay more than what I am quoted for on trip.com

Was upgraded due to a mistake of customer service as they have given away our room, but happy with the customer service, extremely helpful and friendly
Overall cleanliness of room:1 out of 10 to be honest
Very old and carpet had seen better days

We enjoyed our stay and mostly everything was great. I have only put four out of five for cleanliness as the carpet needs cleaning. Otherwise everything else was clean and perfect. Also four out of five for Service. If I ran the motel, I would not have staff in the reception talking about other staff members while customers are trying to check in. Staff who are not greeting the guests should remain silent unless asked for help. It was difficult for us to hear the receptionist and for her to hear us due to the excessive chatter of the other staff members in reception. Otherwise everything else in the service was okay.
