Great hotel as usual. I book this to my couple friend visiting first time Dubai since I have a good experiences with this Sofitel I recommend it to everyone and I book to any of my guest in UAE as top choice. Breakfast generously alot of varieties optional choices. The room I book is big and nice with palm view. Only the issue the weather is too hot in the beach and we cannot stay too much either also in the pool. I request for some suprise gift for the birthday gentleman and the Sofitel staff did there best to impress the gentleman as always. They do beyond there limit and it's make me amaze and the guest who stay that they feel welcome always. Great job Team Sofitel Dubai the palm. Till next time.. Jeffrey Bernadas :)

The date we booked is our 36 years marriage anniversary. I highlighted it when booking. The hotel is very kind and thoughtful of the special date. A nice cake and wonderful flowers are prepared in our room. We are very touched and happy. The weather is windy but we still have inside swimming pool to enjoy. That is clean and with warm water. My new swimming suit was left in the swimming changing room. Hotel swimming department kept it for very formally and sent to my room also with a nice bag. The swimming suit is actually a brand new and 1st time wear. The staff in GYM room is a nice guy. When I look around there was a very early morning, no others were using the GYM. He has time so introduced a lot in patient. Other services are also available and in very good consideration. Thanks very much

It’s our best stay in Dubai. To be honest it’s a great hotel, great location and staff super kind and nice from receptionist to restaurant waiter, specially Sudip our housekeeper is always kept our room clean and fresh. I definitely recommend to someone who wants to visit Dubai to stay with this hotel. .

Nice hotel. Staff are professional and friendly to guests. However, I’ll only give 4/5 for the service as we chose the hotel for staycation since as advertised in the Trip app, we were given complimentary late check-out until 4pm as membership reward. I even have the voucher proof. However, hotel said it is not allowed. Though after long talk with hotel staff, they allowed until 2pm. Still, it is not as advertised.

The hotel overall is fantastic with beautiful interior design, sea view and a private beach, much better than my expectations

The check-in experience is poor. If the overall score is considered, it would be unqualified. It would be about 2 points. But the hotel's facilities and decoration are very good, so the price is so high. But the transportation is very inconvenient. The twin family room booked is large. The single-bed room we were given when we checked in was small in size. We were told that the room we booked was not available. My friend and I went to breakfast. The hotel staff led us to a table. We just sit down and suddenly, a waiter rushed to us and shouted rudely”this table is reserved!” My friend and I were astonished, did not know what happened. Then he made us leave and left us scared. Luckly a nice young lady noticed us, and came to ask what happened and then led us to another table. We asked the young lady- why breakfast table was reserved? We've never heard of it~~ She didn't reply directly. But even though the table was reserved indeed, the waiter could have tell us calmly, we would understand without any doubt. No need to shout out of malice. We went to the restaurant for breakfast. The waiter took us to a table and sat down. As soon as we were seated, a male waiter rushed out and said very savagely that this table was reserved and forced us to leave our seats. My friends and I were stunned and stood there dumbfounded without knowing what was going on. Fortunately, a young waitress saw us and asked us to sit down at another table. We asked: Do you also have table reservations for breakfast? The waiter didn't answer directly. But even if the table was actually reserved, the waiter could have said it nicely and there was no need to be so malicious. This is a hotel with terrible service and the room rates are so expensive it's not worth it. Will never come again. Personal lessons for your reference

The hotel was right smacked in the area of The Palm, loved the fact that it was connected to a mega mall as well – Nakheel Mall, making dining and shopping highly accessible. The rooms were beautiful and incredibly clean, certainly matched the St.Regis hallmark standard. Service was however, a little letdown, I've to call twice, 20mins in between, to ask for more toiletries, either they moved real slow or perhaps it's an area they can work on.

I went for a two night stay and what I can say is the people the hotel everything just amazing. They helped with my luggage upon arrival to my room. I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check in time but they readily make my room. I also checked out an hour late but they didn’t deduct anything and they were patiently waiting. Had the most delicious breakfast ever. Had an amazing pool party from 5pm to 7:30pm. I enjoyed my stay and I would still go stay in this hotel again and again

The apartment is pretty good. I plan to cook. Let a Ghanaian guy show us around the room and use the kitchenware. The attitude is very good. When we are going to check out, another Indian guy comes to help us carry the luggage and put it next to him. I broke the wine bottle and left without saying a word sorry. The manager immediately came over and asked us to leave the number to compensate us. It was very unpleasant! There was no apology for breaking the wine bottle. Thousands of things were gone. The most important thing was that the orders for buying a lot of clothes were getting wet when I was going to the airport for tax refund.

Our experience was overall extremely enjoyable. On arrival we were met with enthusiasm from a tall gentleman dressed in Egyptian clothing, keeping to the theme of the hotel. The staff checking in were lovely and couldn't do enough to help with a positive can do approach to any requests. We were checked in immediately and directed to the stunning golden and white pod lifts. It was my birthday whilst we stayed and we would like to say a special thank you to the staff who decorated our room, he was superb, it added to the experience and made it feel extra special. The standard restaurant had a good selection of foods which varied each day, although the desserts leave a little to be desired in terms of taste - although they look great. The royal grill steakhouse was excellent, we ordered sirloin steak (which the chef refused to serve as the quality of the meat they had received from the supplier was not of his standard and he did not want to serve it to guests - this was exemplary). We had tenderloin instead and it did not disappoint, incredible! The spa and salon are somewhat expensive, the service was top class from the salon.The gym is small, It's clean and quiet with towels and cold water provided. Best to go early morning or late at night when the room is cooler - unless your goal is weight loss because you'll sweat buckets! The rooftop bar on floor 9 was enjoyable. The WiFi was good and didn't disconnect once! The pool area is probably the best part of the hotel and really enjoyable with a warm pool, with a very short walk down to the sea. There aren't many pool sunbeds and they're taken by the early birds every day. It would probably be beneficial to implement some sort of 2hour no return policy as it's a little annoying to see a sunbed unused for a full day when someone has put their towel on it and doesn't use it. At all. The bar is expensive, around £30-40 for a bucket of 5 beers but it's to be expected in Dubai. For the price we paid, considerably less than some of the other options on the palm, we were not disappointed and would recommend this hotel to friends for the price point.
