Shave Farm

We stayed for one night as a stop over from our holiday in Cornwall. We wished we was able to stay longer, we had the B&B family room that also had a large downstairs living/dining area. The room was so spacious and stunning, the hosts James & Kate were amazing and so friendly. The grounds are beautiful and our son loved the goal and made good use of it. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, we will deffo be back and use this for future stopovers. Overall we highly recommend at stay at the Farm.

Absolutely stunning, peaceful, amazing location. Breakfast was fantastic, hospitality was definitely outstanding. We traveled from Northamptonshire for our nieces wedding,we arrived, warmly greeted, offered tea or coffee, advised that we could walk ( 10 minutes) or drive in to the village for an evening meal, we walked down had a fantastic meal. Breakfast on Saturday morning and Sunday morning was absolutely delicious. We actually visited about 2 years ago and unfortunately kept forgetting to leave a review ( very busy lifestyle!! ) We certainly want to return to Shave Farm to explore the area more.

We stayed at Shave Farm on the way to our daughters graduation in Exeter. Good location to break the journey from London, friendly welcome, clean room, comfortable beds and piping hot tasty breakfast delivered to our door. Happily recommend Shave Farm.

A beautiful place in the country. The rooms are nicely decorated. The optional breakfast was well worth the price. The apple room over looks a pond that currently has ducks in it. With cows in a field near you. While you can not pet the cows (fences with a path in between). The only problem I seen is that the climbing stairs are required to access your bedroom. Had an issue getting my elderly mother upstairs. This would be a great place for a honeymoon or to renew your vowels

Stayed here before in Cedar Lodge which is set away from the farmhouse where they do excellent B&B. Lovely, modern place, big comfortable bed, very clean with everything you need for a self catering place, plus of course the lovely jacuzzi. The place catches the sun all day so you can just lounge outside doing nothing. The hosts are so nice and very helpful if you need anything. Local amenities a couple of minutes drive away with a large Tesco’s or Lidles. Ilminister is a nice small town to visit. A 20 minute drive is the Clark’s outlet for lots of great names, discount shopping. And of course Perrys cider mill.

We had a super comfortable stay at Shave farm. Freshly cooked Breakfast was amazing. Super location to explore the local countryside and villages. Nice meals at local pubs especially the Bell at Broadway. Kate and James are lovely hosts. Will be back
