It's close to Humen Pedestrian Street. The location is good. The room is quite big. But there were so many mosquitoes that they bit me. I couldn't sleep when I turned off the lights. Mosquito-repellent incense was provided in the room, but there were no matches. I don't know if I forgot it. I'll give it a call. The service language at the front desk is very direct...come down and get it yourself. This kind of tone makes me, a person who doesn’t like to find fault, feel uncomfortable and a bit speechless😓. I don’t want to have a fight in the middle of the night...

The service is very good, because I have serious nose sensitivity and can't smell smoke, so last night I completed the order on the website and immediately asked the hotel to find out if I could arrange a non-smoking room, and then answer the phone. The Ibis Hotel in Dongguan is a hidden gem. This is our second time staying at this hotel, and we will definitely choose it again for our future visits to Dongguan. We opted for the panoramic room, which offers a bit more space. The room is well-equipped with all the essentials. Considering the price you pay, the value is exceptional. The breakfast provided is not only delicious but also offers a wide variety of options at a very reasonable price. The reception staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We adore this hotel and will definitely be returning in the future.

GGuest UserThe facilities for international business travelers are not great.
The working desk, desk light and chair and not suitable for working sustained periods of time (chair too low, light did hold position and table round and not practical). I did ask the hotel if they could help and although they were very willing, they didn't manage to find a solution.
Also, whilst they are very willing to help, there were many employees that didn't speak fluent English so everything took a long time to explain - from problems to room service. This point about the room service was aggravated by the fact that the ordering process should be done via scanning a QR code on WeChat which then runs an ordering program however this program is ONLY in Chinese so unless you are fluent in Chinese, you will find out after going through the whole process that you need to call the front desk, try to find somebody who can speak English and order that way.
It is a nice place just not very focused on international travelers.

GGuest UserThe best hotel in town! Very good western breakfast. Very clear environment. There is a great restaurant with Japanese cuisine. The downside for a hotel of such a high standard is that the staff does not speak English.
Large parking lot in front of the hotel.
A very big disadvantage in the cold season - the central air conditioning system of the hotel does not support the heating function and you will simply freeze in your room. Once upon I spent a few weeks in winter in this hotel, they provided me with 3 mobile heaters and this was the only way I could escape the cold.

EElenaThe hotel looks beautiful, renovated, nicely decorated and facilitated. The furniture is very decent, according to the classic style of the hotel. The cleaning service is extraordinary.The breakfast provided could be more assorted and decent. Gym is pretty old, however it's convenient. The steam room and the sauna are too small, could be arranged better. The communication with the staff in English is very problematic, but electronic dictionaries saved us many times. Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel and will be back if we have still things to do with at Dongguan.
