Fantastic B&B impeccably run by lovely Nicole and her husband Jean Pierre. Everything thought through and brought to perfection - room is spacious with comfy beds, breakfast is plentiful and consists of fresh local products. The view is out of this world, really. But above everything is hospitality of Nicole. She is for your service at any point of time with tons of recommendations. From day one talking to her felt like talking to an old friend. My visit to this gorgeous home was all too brief, but I enjoyed it immensely. The property and view are simply stunning, and Nicole and her husband are so kind, welcoming and helpful. I loved the beautifully maintained terrace and garden, and the interior of the home is artful as well. It is, admittedly, a little outlying so you definitely need a car, especially if it's hot out, which it was when I visited. But there is so much to see nearby, I only barely managed to scratch the surface, and hope be able to return to this lovely place again soon.

We experienced excellent service from start to finish during our 6-night visit. Nicole and Jean Pierre have a lot of experience of working in tourism and it certainly shows. Our living area was spacious, comfortable and stylishly designed. Going down to breakfast in the morning was a real treat - eating locally sourced, tasty, organic and homemade treats whilst looking out onto the most fabulous view. The location was perfect for us - a 10/15-minute walk away from the beautiful bastide town of Domme with its stunning outlook over the Dordogne and excellent restaurants. We didn't have to travel far as there was plenty for us to do in the local area - walking, exploring villages, visiting chateaux, canoeing along the Dordogne and sampling the local cuisine. We knew from reading the reviews that we would have a good experience and our expectations were exceeded. Nicole and Jean Pierre have created something very special. They are fabulous hosts - friendly, cheerful, happy and genuinely kind. They want you to have a great holiday and in our case they certainly succeeded.

Quel moment! Malheureusement trop court, mais remplist de douceur et d’attention, Nicole et Jean Pierre, sont des hôtes comme rarement nous avons la chance d’en connaître, leur demeure est charmante et la vue … à couper le souffle. Le village de DOMME est magique et rempli d’histoire, Nicole et Jean Pierre nous ont conseillé de super sites à visiter et en effet de belles merveilles, nous en avons pris plein les yeux. C’était parfait merci à vous deux et au plaisir pour vous recroiser du côté D’Aix en Pce. PS: Petit conseil pour les futurs visiteurs, n’hésitez pas à réserver directement sur le site des chambres de madeL vous profiterez de meilleurs prix et conditions ;)

Exzellent geführtes ruhiges Haus mit feinster Ausstattung. Bester Ausblick, liebevolle Betreuung. Domme ist eine wunderschöne Bastide, die einen traumhaften Ausblick auf das Tal der Dordogne bietet. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Merveilleux endroit, merveilleuse maison, merveilleuse vue, merveilleuse compagnie : je ne saurais qu’ajouter. Reçue comme à la maison mais avec le luxe d’un service attentionné et gourmand. J’ai tout apprécié à la Chambre de Madel : la proximité avec Domme et les multitudes de centre d’intérêt que peut offrir le Périgord, le calme, la propreté, le confort de la chambre. Tout ce cocon est rassurant et vous transporte dans un moment coupé du monde. Les petits-déjeuners sont divins et gargantuesques et Nicole a à cœur de sourcer ses produits chez les producteurs et artisans de la région. Son gâteau au noix est à tomber. Il est possible de ramener de quoi dîner pour éviter les surcharges de restaurant le soir et profiter des étoiles du ciel dégagé : mais surtout de la compagnie de deux personnes dont la passion et le métier se partage jusqu’au moindre détail. Quels hôtes exceptionnels! Nicole et Jean-Pierre nous ont accueillis dans une maison chaleureuse, décorée avec beaucoup de goût avec un paysage à couper le souffle! Un petit-déjeuner délicieux et très copieux, de précieux conseils pour les visites aux alentours, des literies très confortables, la recette d'un séjour inoubliable! Un énorme MERCI!!!
