VIP Hotel Doha Qatar

It's a hotel for transit use. Good location to access to airport. Took over 1 hour at checkin wait line. Only 1 staff at reception is doing checking while 5 to 6 staff are doing something else with a line of over 20 people. Smell like smoking in room. Need to change room. It's good value for a short stay but don't expect much services.

Before I got out of the taxi the concierge was outside with a trolley and happily loading my luggage 😁 Very jolly security man and Mr Mohammed at reception gave me my room key super fast It’s a very quiet, clean hotel with a unique design Excellent staff

This hotel seems like for one night stands cause I saw drunk ladies at 4:30 am even trying to take the taxi I was getting into it has a few clubs seem like really a one night stand hotel that luxurious the staff are not friendly had to wait for assistance with my bags eventually I took my own bag the lady receptionist is very unfriendly I had to give her my passport like 3 times it seems like she is new how can they have a shower as an entrance

3 Star knocking shop. If you're looking for a 'good time' then you'll be well-suited here. There are numerous bars with the usual fat Pilipino ?ladies hanging around. There are loud 'pleasure' noises thought the hotel and outside all night. The club security aren't particularly friendly or helpful but the general hotel staff are. Prices are reasonable but not cheap and the bar staff are friendly. This is 3 Star at best and don't chose the smoking rooms even if you smoke, they're in poor condition. The facilities inside the room are great but unkempt or broken/tatty. The rooftop pool is lovely when the birds aren't drinking or pooping in the pool. The staff do their best. The sun loungers are uncomfortable and faded and you get a good audio-visual of the airport planes taking off and landing! There is sometimes armed Military personnel in the corner watching over the airport. The reception area didn't have much in the way of assistance, like needle and threads, suit rollers to wipe hair from ones clothing, no deodorant, paracetamol or local knowledge. I could make a Snagging list as long as the Corniche for my single room as well, including but not limited to the whole in the bathtub, curtains didn't close properly, the National Guard alarms every day 3am, 4am, 8am, daytime (ruined my stay), showers not warm enough, windows don't function, burn marks, no signage or labels to use facilities, WiFi didn't work well, no coffee machine capsules (though a coffee machine) and no milk. Also the in-room menu's have bad English grammar. The food was delicious at breakfast and the staff were really amenable and helpful. The perfume lady arrives in the afternoon and I never saw the Taxi/tours guy once in the whole x2 weeks. The flies in the communal areas take some getting used to as well. The barbers are friendly albeit wanting and the manicure lady is pushy. £200 for a massage implies only one thing in my eyes! The Rose Bar has friendly staff and Management and a decent selection. Main entrance security is friendly and helpful and there are activities across the road in the form of football and cricket from the locals. The good bits are the lights it the room are accessible form bedside, fridge and TV with various local channels and some international, free BeIN sports channels, nice comfort roll and toothbrush toothpaste and shower gel, there is plenty of space in the rooms and nothing was stolen or tampered with. The domestic staff are great and helpful and friendly too. The restaurant was lovely and a good hearty varied breakfast options helped with my stay. There are plenty of electrical outlets and teh cleaning quality was decent. Don't forget to hit the Do Not Disturb button or else you'll get awoken at 7am. Generally they tried hard but I felt unsafe entering and leaving here in the evenings,

A very bad experience for a first time visit where the staff doesn’t know where should the guest park, apparently if you visit the hotel cafe your more valued than a hotel guest there is no proper management or skilled staff to ensure guests arrive and are addressed

Overall it was smooth check -in and the receptionist was pretty good and talkative and great attitude, however room was very small and once we check in we don’t see any water in room , need to wait 30 minutes to get water , once I order for room for any special request they directly say no very unprofessional way , they could have been done well.Margerita pizza was digaster tasteless while club sandwich bread was not warm well , French fries not fried well.

Arrived at the hotel and staff looked miserable and were very blunt. We were told that there would be fire alarm testing only when we arrived there, at 8am in the morning. This went on all day!! There was only 1 towel in the whole room. No hand towels or even a bath mat for getting out. We requested towels at roughly 12pm and had to ask again at 6pm as they still didn’t arrive. After requesting the second time it still took them another 2 hours to bring the towels up. The staff were really rude to my partner, not listening to his requests or questions and dismissing him. I had to leave earlier to catch a flight at 12am that night and my partner was staying on in the hotel. There was no need to check out. As we were leaving they chased us out the door asking us to check out and we had to explain to them that we aren’t checking out a day early I’m just leaving. After my partner dropped me at the airport and went back to the hotel they were questioning him about why he was staying and were overall very unprofessional. They made him feel uncomfortable and angry with the way they treated him. Honestly the most rude hotel staff I have ever had to deal with. I have stayed in 2 star hotels better than this so called 5 star one. If you want to be treated like a guest and a human, avoid this hotel at all costs. In addition, the room was dirty, walls had holes in it and bathroom door has make up all over it. The only positive was the bed was comfortable. I will never make the same mistake twice by staying here.

This cannot be a five star hotel Doesn't deserve two stars Very bad hotel and very bad in dealing with guests There is an Egyptian nationality alternate manager named Ahmed, who absolutely does not deserve to be a manager who deals with the inmates like this I do not recommend living there at all
