The gentleman on reception was helpful when checking us in. From there, things went downhill ... We went to our room, changed into our swimwear, and headed to the pool area. First, the pool was closed and murky. We then hunted around for available sun loungers, but nearly all of them just had towels on them with no user around. We found two to share between the four of us. Over the next several hours, most remained with just towels reserving them! At 9:30 in the evening, towels still remained reserving on approximately half the loungers! The following morning, we had the awful breakfast. Limited selection. The two coffee jugs were left with dregs in for the time we were there. Stale bread. The following day, the pool was opened up but remained distinctly murky, so our children avoided it. Dinner in the restaurant was simple but the food appeared good. The service was really slow and understaffed. One waitress was very good, but the other looked disinterested. The biggest issues were these two ... 1. On the final morning, we left to catch our flight home, but our car had been blocked in. Nobody was at reception, we spoke to a couple of members of staff who said to message the number posted on reception. We did that several times, and there no reply. We called the number several times and they didn't answer. A member of staff called the owner but got no joy. She tried again later and never answered her call. After intervention from a neighbouring property, a member of staff finally looked for the owners details, and 1.5 hours after needing to leave, the car owner was contacted! 2. On the last night both our children had sickness and diarrhoea. Within 24 hours, both my wife and I had fallen ill. Whilst there, we came across three other people that had a similar illness! There appeared to be a shortage of staff, and the ones we saw seemed unhappy.
