This is my second time coming to Dhigufaru Resort Island. It was always lovely to come here. Our butler, Afa always prepared the best for us. The first time we came, on my partner’s birthday and they prepared us the complimentary cake and even help to figure out our transfer problem. The second time we came, there was a little miscommunication regarding our booking and our room choices were fullbook, but she managed for us so we still can get our preferences room based on our booking and evenmore better. The manta feeding was fun as well, so excited to see the manta & shark from very close to the beachline. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner are also good with various options. The room was clean and the amnities were completed. I love the smell of the lotion the most. A good place to creating memories. Definitely will come back again 💛

An absolutely amazing resort with the most helpful people and beautiful facilities. I loved my stay there. The only downside was that you had to pay huge prices for everything. The resort price alone is really expensive, and they should add some of the water sports to that expense. Not everyone wants or can afford) the all inclusive, so a few of the water sports should be included for everyone. Kayaks, paddle boards etc. should be “free” for every guest.
I really can’t complain about anything else, it was beautiful and peaceful, and it is a great resort to go to!
They also communicated with the sea planes and made it super easy to get to and from the airport to the island. Thank you!

This beautiful small Island is the perfect getaway if you need a break. Paradise, beautiful beaches and absolutely lovely staff. Our front desk specialist Afa made sure we were taken care of during the whole stay, which made it so much easier to relax. The island manages to balance several types of people at once, which is impressive. Families with children seemed just as happy as couples on a romantic trip. Staying at the sunset water-villa, I had a wonderful time starting with a dip in the ocean in the morning, watching the marine life like colorful fish, rays and baby sharks swim by from time to time to say hello,… the rooms are clean, functional and the beds very comfortable. Spacious bathroom with access to the terrace. The food was amazing : a variety of fresh vegetables and tasty dishes from all over the world, love cooking stations, and a kitchen staff that will cater to your special needs of ever you don’t find what your diet requires if told in advance. Great evening entertainment and cocktail bar to watch the sunset. Cheers to the attentive staff at Thundi Bar. Can’t wait to go back!

We visited Maldives in nov 2022. We had pre booked everything and had chosen Dhigufaru island resort for our stay . Beautiful island and we spent 4 days . Life on an island is so different. We stayed in a beach villa for 2 days and then shifted to water villa for next 2 days , just to have a different experience. The food used to be superb with a huge variety in every single meal .

Fantastic resort, not too big which makes it feel quite personalised. House Reef was fantastic snorkeling. Staff couldn't do enough for you, and super polite. Room was very comfortable, clean and well equipped (sunrise over water bungalow). Sea plane organisation was smooth. The buffet was very good, with lots of choice - and their Christmas Eve Gala dinner was off the chart. Didn't find the Dolphin Cruise trip good value, the boat team whilst lovely didn't seem to know much and add any value and it was more like 1hr 20mins than 2hrs. Little chaotic on arrival, the airport in general, and we didn't know what to expect. But, all came together well and it's a super slick process.

Dhigufaru is an absolutely magical place. I have been to a fair few islands in the Maldives but this one is just the best. The island is small but beautiful. The beaches are stunning and I’ve never seen more gorgeous sunsets anywhere, every single night. We stayed in a semi water villa with a massive bathroom with 2 showers and a bath. It was perfect. The food was lovely with plenty of variety and choice. My only suggestion would be to offer some gluten free bread and pasta for us coeliacs. But what really makes this place so special is the staff. They are so helpful and friendly and always welcome you with a big smile. They really are one big happy family. A special thanks to Shibaz, the resort manager and Faisal for making my partners 50th birthday so special. They really pulled it out the bag, including not one, but two birthday cakes and a surprise movie night on the beach for us and some friends. Also, the sunset cruise they invited us on was amazing. A big thanks to Mary, our host, for looking after us. Also, a big thank you to Thilak and all the girls at the Thundi pool bar. A great place to hang out during the day, sipping a cocktail or two or for drinks at sundown. Also a big thank you to Nina, Jean-Luc, Niko and all the dive team. The snorkelling trips were brilliant and I fulfilled my dream of seeing loads of Manta Rays! Overall, I cannot recommend this beautiful, tranquil island enough. It’s not the poshest but it’s by far my favourite for the people, the mantas, the sunsets and the warm hospitality we were shown throughout our stay.
