Travelodge Devizes Hotel

Clean, tidy, good staff and comfortable rooms. The beds were comfortable and had good access to charging points. Good parking. Not the prettiest area but a nice walk along the canal to town. The reception staff were helpful with getting taxis. The rooms were large enough to share comfortably with my daughter.

Arrived on the Friday toilet wasn’t flushing so told staff they said they fixed it but we returned back only to discover it was broke altogether and was gushing water out all night no sleep at all moved rooms and second toilet wasn’t flushing properly either plus bed wasn’t made up my 81 year old mum slept with just a sheet all night and was cold this is the worse place I’ve stayed no WiFi unless you pay and no reception to use your own internet not sure how they get away with charging £50 per person per night never anybody on reception to help and no phones in rooms never again !!!!!!

Unfortunately our stay was mared by a faulty fire alarm at 6am. The hotel is fine and the staff were great

This the second time I have stayed at the Devizes Travelodge and you just cannot fault it. We spent two nights here this time in the hot weather and they did everything possible to keep us cool as they have no air con, and it worked. The rooms are very clean and the staff friendly and welcoming. If you need a snack there is a Greggs and subway next door. Over the road is a donor kebab takeaway. A 20 minute walk and you are in town.

What can I say? The staff members give a warm and polite welcome. They are very accomodating to any requests that you may have. Last time I stayed in this hotel, I did run into one issue of the keycard stopping working, this time however I had no issues at all. The room I was given was lovely, I was able to sit on the chairs in the room and watch the sun go down with a nice cup of tea and some dinner. The only thing that was a small issue to me is the fact that half the TV Channels werent working. The TVs could really do with a channel re-scan but other than that I was able to use my laptop for Sky Go (thanks to the provided wifi which is always good) All in All, another delightful stay in Devizes!

Average hotel not worth £147 , half that at least. Great staff though, Aiden was lovely on reception and deserves a raise! Fine and convenient for what it was after a long days work, just felt a bit grotty in the bathroom and needs a bit of sprucing up, door didnt shut by itself also, for someone unknowing this could be dangerous (106)
