Horrible service and rude Arrogant , unhelpful ,awful liar owner . He pretend and called himself to be Maharaja or Maharaja's younger brother. When we arrived Jodhpur we came to know the reality of self proclaimed Maharaja that he is just a Thakur , brother of Rawat Sahib . That’s his real tital. He was full of himself and talks all nonsense about others and said lot of disrespectful words for Rawat Sahib . We are paid guests we don’t come there to listen his stuff about his property disputes . We could not sleep whole night because outside the nearby temple had a very very loud singing of three or four priests over microphone and power amplified all night long . The baddest night we ever had . If you want to stay in peace better look for some other place

We booked Dev Shree Deogarh after reading lots of good reviews but it was not a good idea and it was too late by the time we realised . It’s a noisy village , loud music in the night couldn’t let us sleep . Food was okay , it was not of our liking . I never stayed at any hotel where the owner only talks negative about other hotel and about his own brother . He was only cribbing about his own brother all the time . Spoiled my stay completely . Not recommended at all

The place is a mixture of royal stay with home stay vibes, excellent property, delicious food, fantastic ambience and remarkable hospitality ,the safari to Bhil Beri falls was made memorable with the picnic lunch provided

What a fabulous place. We are very familiar with travel to India. Devshree was superb,a wonderful warm family. We stayed 6 nights and did not want to leave. You must stay more than 1 night to experience true Indian hospitality. You relax immediately, the staff,all of the family are truly lovely people. The pool area is relaxing, the gardens tranquil over looking the lake. The rooms were well equipped comfy beds. The food was wonderful nothing was too much trouble. Walking into the village was easy and without hassel. There is plenty to do in the area. Train ride,temple visit,evening jeep and sundowner maybe even the elusive leopard sighting! School visits , so much is available you only have to ask.This visit truley gets you to the heart of India. Thank you to Whole of the family. Sorry this is a late post.

My mum and I stayed here to break the journey between Jaipur and Udaipur. It was our most enjoyable stay of our whole India trip. The family were so welcoming and we felt like we were right at home. It was great to have a real family experience admist all the hotels. Thank you so much for opening your home to us. Our lake view safari will be laughed about for years!

The most wonderful warm place - great hospitality and so relaxing. For a little family it was absolutely perfect. Thank you to the family for going out their way to make sure we had the best time. Be sure to do the train ride - it was a sweet way to introduce the kids to the Indian railways

Just spent two delightful days at Dev Shree. The owners and their sons are charming and warmly welcome you to their home and make you feel instantly relaxed. It is located just on the edge of a small town and you can take a guided walk round the old city. Amongst the other activities we did the rural train ride and the evening jeep safari complete with sundowners and if lucky then a sighting of a leopard or two. The food is plentiful and tasty and it was lovely to eat with the other guests and the family in their lovely home. Would definitely recommend a stay there whilst touring Rajasthan!
