Location can't be beat. My apartment was clean but needed new blinds very much so. Beds good not great. Needed help with TV and manager was prompt with response. Great for most people not needing luxury. I would give a 5 if the blinds had not been missing slats and not closing correctly. I would stay again at Crystal Sands because of location.

DISGUSTING!!! This is the dirtiest place we have EVER stayed. Soon after arriving, we noticed the upstairs was FILTHY. Bed sheets were dirty, red sticky spill on floor, garbage and popsicle wrapper in bathroom. The stopper to the bathroom sink was also missing and the drain was clogged with what appeared to be vomit. We called to report it and housekeeping was sent to clean the upstairs. We left immediately after for dinner (10hr drive to get there and the kids were starving). After returning a little before midnight my 12yr old daughter tried to close the sliding door in the loft where she was sleeping and the incredibly HEAVY door fell on her!!! My husband was able to lift it off her and place it against the wall. Then we discovered that our bed, which was very neatly made also had DIRTY sheets with BLOOD on them!!! I called the emergency housekeeping number to beg for clean sheets and Josh was incredibly rude, said he could not help until morning and hung up on me! I was able to sleep in the bed with my daughter that night and my husband was forced to sleep on the couch. He is 6'3 and was miserable the next day. In addition to all of this there was a sticky stain on the couch, a pill on the bedroom floor, black mold in the bathtub, dirty dishes in the drawers...everything about this place was DISGUSTING! I also received an email a few weeks before our arrival stating the room had a k-cup coffee pot, iron and ironing board. It had none of these items. I reported all of this to Phillip who told me he was the housekeeping manager. He asked me to email him the details of our stay so we could be compensated for all of the trouble. After emailing him it took two and a half weeks and multiple unreturned phone calls to finally get a response. He said he was willing to reimburse us 5% of our total cost!!! That equals $66!!! What a joke!!! Save yourself the MISERY and DO NOT stay at Crystal sands or and other property managed by Ocean Reef.

First time staying at this facility and on Scenic 98. Condo was amazing. Views were amazing. Close to everything. Private beach is amazing. I would recommend this condo to anyone coming to Destin/Miramar Beach area. Booked in VRBO and process was seamless.

.The walkway to the beach is under construction and you cannot easily access the beach. We are in the A building. The website does not say anything about it, if it did I would have found a different hotel. I arrived Saturday March 12 and went to use the oven and the element was bad and caught on fire. I tied three different ways of contacting someone about this and no one could help me. This office here isn’t open on weekends so Monday I went to the office (I wasn’t given a number to call) I reported the problem with the oven and they told me it would be fixed by the end of the day, it wasn’t. Nothing was done. The rest of the place is adequate, it is a bit run down but livable.
