You can see that it is an old hotel and can't really compare with other 5 star hotels on many aspects. But it is probably understandable considering the very remote location. Nevertheless, we were extremely satisfied with their service, especially from Ms Angel. Firstly, they gave us a free room upgrade and even decorated our room nicely after knowing that we were on our honeymoon. Angel also contacted us beforehand to make sure everything was ok, she was so friendly and helpful throughout, and when we were leaving, she even went out of her way to make multiple phone calls to make sure our bus seats back to Shangri-la was secured. Would highly recommend for the hospitality alone.

The Inn is located at the top of the upper Yubeng village. The good point is that you can have a very good unblock view. The downside for now is that you need to climb up from the lower Yubeng or call a car to send you up. But this will not be an issue after the authority completes road construction from Xidang village. The Inn has its own resturant. My wife and I enjoy the food they serve. It's really one of the better ones in the village. Part of the Inn is still under construction. It will become nicer after they complete it. The room price is on a higher end but we enjoyed our stay.

There are snow-capped mountains on three sides, the White Horse Snow Mountain on the left, the Goddess Peak and the Five Crowns Peak facing each other, and the General Peak and Kawagebo's head on the right. It should be the best location in the whole Yubeng. The overall view is very clean, and the only regret is that the wooden structure is not soundproof.

The room is not big, but it has an unbeatable view of the Meili Snow Mountain. Next to it is the fourth-floor terrace, which is very convenient for taking photos. The breakfast is particularly rich, and there is also exquisite afternoon tea. You can use ******* clothes for free, and the waiters will be very considerate to help you put them on. In short, it is a very good choice.

There are welcome drinks upon check-in, free snacks at the mini bar, afternoon tea every day (flower cakes, yak meat, etc.), and small sweet water in the evening. Very sincere. The oxygen concentrator in the room relieved our altitude sickness very well, and the humidifier relieved the dryness very well. The most attractive thing should be the public area on the fourth floor, where the Meili Snow Mountain can be seen at a glance when the weather is good. We didn't see it this time, but it was very quiet because there were few people. There is a sense of service. Especially on the first day, I was in the hotel restaurant and felt very uncomfortable due to altitude sickness. I asked if there was any Coke. A very beautiful girl said that the restaurant did not sell it and was willing to help me buy it from the outside store. I ran back and forth, and refused to collect the money after buying it. Thank you sincerely! Please note that the bed may be hot enough to affect your sleep when you check in. Check with the staff how to deal with it. I will come again if I have the chance.

Yourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up. The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

The view of Jinshan Mountain in the sun from the rooftop observation deck of the hotel was good. It was the last time before the Spring Festival (it rained in the next few days according to the weather forecast). The view of the room was also good, and the main peak was clearly visible. Facing the majestic snow-capped mountains after the sun rose, it was very comfortable to sit for two hours and drink tea. The room was clean and tidy, and the sheets were very clean, which was satisfactory. The graphene electric heater was hung on the wall, which was safe and the indoor temperature was comfortable. I was surprised to find that there was also an electric blanket, which slowly heated up after turning it on. The feet that got cold quickly became hot when walking around on the ground in disposable slippers. I turned it off after turning it on for more than two hours and felt sweaty. The bathroom facilities were average but they were all there (no plastic slippers, but it is generally not recommended to take a bath on the mountain, so it is not a problem). In general, the price-performance ratio is good.

As a traditional ******* country B&B, the operators of this B&B, the Dolma sisters, are simple and friendly, and are not commercialized at all. It can really be a rare place for travelers to rest. The room is clean and comfortable, and you can see the snow-capped mountains and river as soon as you open the window. The transportation is very convenient. Between the two roads into Tibet, it is also a transfer point for several surrounding villages. The altitude is low, so it is suitable for both young and old. There is no need to worry about the discomfort of living at high altitude. After staying here, you can go to different villages to see the grape fields and local customs... Especially the large terrace of her house is located in the vast grape fields, with the snow-capped mountains right next to it. In front of my eyes... an unprecedented feeling.

The most satisfying hotel in the entire Shangri-La trip. I personally think that Meili Shanju is better than Songzan Linka! The hotel public areas and rooms use a lot of wood for decoration, especially the rooms, almost all wooden furniture, very textured, the room lighting is also very warm, at night the whole room is very homely, very comfortable to live in! The deluxe mountain residence king-size bed room booked is very large, it is a small suite with a small living room, a bedroom, and a separate small balcony. The balcony window faces the Meili Snow Mountain, and the view is excellent! The dinner in the hotel's Chinese restaurant is a set meal, and the product of 350 per person is very amazing and cost-effective! Although there are not many varieties of breakfast, the taste of the single items is great, and the handmade noodles and rice noodles taste great! The afternoon tea is a little simple, and all the service staff of the hotel are enthusiastic and professional. When checking in, they will send a pair of handmade cloth shoes for guests to change into, full of ritual! The Arc'teryx store in Meili Shanju also has more styles than the Songzan Linka store!

Good location for hikes starting in Lower Yubeng with a nice view. Room was well appointed, with warm showers, heating, and comfortable beds - everything needed after a day of trekking. Staff are friendly and happy to help, and provided great advice on hiking in the area. We were provided with crampons and walking poles to borrow for free.
