The pillowcase in the room was broken. I asked the boss for another pillow, but I said no. Everyone has lived in a hotel, how can it not be. The cleanliness of the room is OK, the bathroom is relatively large. Later, I found that the wifi in the room was bad, and the boss also came to see it in time, but I couldn't get it myself. I could call the workers to repair it. I thought it was too early, so I told the boss that I didn't need to repair it. In the end, the Tianyi worker called by the boss came and repaired it. This is not bad.

Room: Thanks to the boss for upgrading the suite for free, the room is large, the coffee table looks very expensive haha ～
Facilities: Air conditioning is not available but there is floor heating, heating is slower but the effect is good, very comfortable ～ Others have, the shower is dry and wet, but there is no grid block underneath, the water will not splash out, it will overflow

Moju is not only a B&B, but also a youth hostel. The location is good, the view is good, the room facilities are complete, air conditioning, heating, oxygen machine and humidifier are included. It is relatively cost-effective in the foggy top area. There are also bad things, such as poor sanitation, moldy black spots on the bathroom wall and floor, and poor sound insulation. Because there are many people in the youth hostel, they talk loudly until 12 o'clock in the evening. The dog in the B&B keeps barking at 3 midnight and 5 am. Being woken up several times during one night is really unfriendly for people who have to drive the next day. As for service, there is basically none.

We arrived at the hotel at around 8pm. We called the hotel in the afternoon and they said they could cook for us in the evening, the restaurant would be waiting for us, and they upgraded our room for free. When we arrived at the hotel entrance, a waiter came out to greet us, and we quickly completed the check-in procedures in a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. Dinner can be delivered to the room, and a cup of hot milk is also provided, which really makes the guests feel at home.
Facilities: The hotel's view rooms offer a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains. The top floor of the hotel is a restaurant and terrace, where you can also enjoy the view.

Staffs of the hotel are very kind and offer drop off and pick up from the place (just after the tunnel, just tell the bus driver where you are staying and he will stop there) the bus drop you. Room are clean and the front facing rooms on the 2nd floor provide a fantastic view from the comfort of your bed!

Environment: The decoration style of the famous hostel is great, the whole floor-to-ceiling window of the room faces the Meili Thirteen Peaks, and there is a viewing platform on the fifth floor roof, the viewing experience is superb.
Service: The hotel's Xiao Zhaxi service is very good, driving to the entrance of Deqin Tunnel to pick us up and patiently explain to us. The hotel restaurant provides lunch and dinner ordering, the price is reasonable and the taste is good. The breakfast is rich and varied and delicious, and there are afternoon tea snacks at 3:30 in the afternoon.
Although I didn't see the Rizhao Jinshan, I was very happy to see the full view of the snow mountain. I will choose here next time I come, and I hope I will be lucky enough to see the Rizhao Jinshan next time.

MmailcoThe hotel is in a good location. I originally wanted to stay in the first store, which is under renovation. There are many guests in the second store. Generally speaking, the service is quite different from that of Wunongding. A good luxury resort hotel depends on whether the staff treats guests from the heart. There is no refrigerator in the room. Although the drinks are placed in the public area, it always feels a bit strange. Most people who come to Yubeng come to hike. I heard the foot bath bucket from the table next to me when I was having dinner. I clearly told the housekeeper that I had walked for nine hours that day, but I didn’t see it mentioned. Of course, it was delivered quickly after I asked. The hotel provides cleaning and shoe brushing services, and provides a lot of hiking equipment rental.
The lack of service lies in how to serve guests at this price, whether the smile is from the heart, and whether to think about the problem from the customer's perspective.
During the meal in the restaurant, the guests at the next table wanted to add a dish of hot sauce. The waiter directly replied that the kitchen was off work. There was no way. I was stunned. As long as the guests are still in the restaurant, they don’t have to cook a new dish. Praise the service staff of the bar on the third floor, they are still very enthusiastic. I really recommend learning about the service of the company. Design and hardware are important, but service is the real soft power. It is irreplaceable.

GGlobetrotter & HikerWe highly recommend staying in Yolo Guesthouse if you are staying overnight at Upper Yubeng Village. The owner and staff of the guesthouse was very friendly, helpful and informative throughout our stay.
We connected through WeChat prior to arrival and liaised with the guesthouse for transport from Lower Yubeng to upper Yubeng. The transport was included in the reservation. On arrival in the afternoon, the staff introduced and escorted us to a nearby restaurant for lunch even though it was drizzling.
The guesthouse is strategically located to have views of the valley downstream and upstream. The building structure is sturdy and well designed compared to many other accommodations in the villages. The interior of the room and the rooftop coffee bar is beautifully designed and clean. They also have Dyson hairdryer and Smeg electric kettle. Coffee at the rooftop bar was decent but it was accompanied by amazing views of the valley. We were the only ones at the rooftop bar after check in and we also had their in-house hotpot at night which we enjoyed.
Prior to departing for our day hike (Glacier lake from Upper Yubeng Village) the next day, the guesthouse even provided hiking poles, crampons, bottled water, Red Bull canned drinks and a homely ham and egg sandwich. We were also allowed to leave our bags stored with them as we had to check out in the late afternoon after returning from the hike. After checkout, the guesthouse also helped to call a vehicle to transport us down to lower Yubeng village.
We wished we had stayed here longer throughout our trip to Yubeng. We felt very welcomed and had a memorable stay. Thank you so much!

BBellaThis was such a lovely hotel! The wooden carving was so beautiful and the rooms were lovely and cosy. We initially booked one of the rooms in the main lobby area and they were fantastic. The shower was hot and dependable and there was a nice view out the window. The price point is also great, as it definitely feels like one of Yubengs higher and hotels in a great location, but without a huge price tag. There are many cool restaurants surrounding the hotel, and in my opinion, lower Yubeng is the better village to stay at, especially if you are trekking in from ninong. For our final night we upgraded to the mountain view suite. Yes, you can see the mountain better but the room is actually worse than the downstairs rooms, as well as being more expensive. I think the downstairs rooms are far superior. The boss was also nice and helpful, as well as going out of her way to lend us hiking gear. Great hotel.

GGuest UserThe view of Jinshan Mountain in the sun from the rooftop observation deck of the hotel was good. It was the last time before the Spring Festival (it rained in the next few days according to the weather forecast). The view of the room was also good, and the main peak was clearly visible. Facing the majestic snow-capped mountains after the sun rose, it was very comfortable to sit for two hours and drink tea.
The room was clean and tidy, and the sheets were very clean, which was satisfactory. The graphene electric heater was hung on the wall, which was safe and the indoor temperature was comfortable. I was surprised to find that there was also an electric blanket, which slowly heated up after turning it on. The feet that got cold quickly became hot when walking around on the ground in disposable slippers. I turned it off after turning it on for more than two hours and felt sweaty.
The bathroom facilities were average but they were all there (no plastic slippers, but it is generally not recommended to take a bath on the mountain, so it is not a problem).
In general, the price-performance ratio is good.

GGuest UserDuring the Spring Festival, I took my whole family from Shangri-La Dukezong Ancient Town to Meili Snow Mountain by charter. The driver took us along the 214 National Highway to enjoy the check-in attractions along the way. We chose to stay in the viewing room of Shenfeng Hotel. Since I was with my parents, I could enjoy the Meili Snow Mountain from the room, which was very comfortable. The terrace had a hanging chair, a rattan table and rattan chairs, which were very well designed. On the second day, I was lucky enough to see the Rizhao Jinshan Mountain that my daughter was looking forward to. There is also a large terrace on the floor of the hotel with better scenery. Guests staying in the hotel can go to the terrace to enjoy the view. The hotel floor heating is very comfortable, the room facilities are very new, and the bedding is clean and tidy. At night, the boss also brought each person a cup of yak milk, so that we could drink it to cool it down, otherwise it would be fishy when it was cold. It was a thoughtful arrangement, and the whole family was very satisfied.

GGuest UserThere is a small bar under the room. It is very relaxing to sit there when you have nothing to do. You can eat in the lobby of the inn. The taste is very good and the price is reasonable. I drank 4 bowls of rice by myself. The room is relatively small, but you can see the snow-capped mountains when lying on the bed. The only thing is that the sound insulation is a bit poor. You can hear people talking in the next room. People with poor sleep need to consider this. In addition, there will be noise when people pass by in the corridor. There are electric heaters and electric blankets in the room, so you won't feel cold when you sleep. The uncle who serves at the front desk is very enthusiastic and nice.

GGuest UserYourland Hotel is run and operated by a very hard working lady who essentially does everything herself - from welcoming guests, cooking breakfast, cleaning the rooms and washing the bed sheets & laundry. The rooms are very clean and neatly organised, it has all the comforts that any hiker should need in such a remote location that is high up in the mountains (e.g. electric blankets, warm showers, etc.) Please do note that the warm water does need sometime to reheat especially if another guest takes a shower right away after the first guest. It will not be sufficient time for the water heating machine to heat the water. You should take note of the number that is displayed on the water heater. By default in our room, it showed the number of 44 and after the first guest took the shower, it went down to 19. If someone takes a shower right away at that moment, it will be cold so the next person should wait a bit until the number displayed moves up.
The views in the morning are amazing as you can see the mountain ranges on three different sides so you get a very good panoramic view from the terrace of the hotel. After a long day of hiking, our moods were lightened up when we were welcomed by the friendly and playful Labrador Retriever whose name is Dou Dou. Such a lovely dog ＜3. I would recommend you to stay here if you are looking for a place to stay in Upper Yubeng, it's good base for your planned hikes to the Glacier Lake and Nise Ranch. The place might be a bit difficult to locate if you arrive in Yubeng late at night (like we did since we walked all the way from Ninong, which was really tiring), but once you get the gist of it, it's very easy to remember and locate.

GGuest UserThis hotel offers a great location to view the Meili Snow Mountains during the morning golden peak and also sunset (if you're lucky with the weather conditions). It is right next to the bus stop, which means it is very convenient if you are planning to catch an early morning bus (in our case). Rooms can be a bit pricey, but we know that we are essentially paying for the view. The food at the hotel is also tasty, I didn't need to go and look anywhere else for dinner and breakfast. I appreciated the great help that was provided by a staff named Xiao Wei. We arrived at the hotel when it was raining and wasn't expecting to see any mountain range in sight, but then the sky suddenly cleared up during the evening just shortly before sunset whilst we were having dinner and Xiao Wei came over to tell us to go and have a look at the snow mountain, which made our hearts rushed with joy. We also appreciated when Xiao Wei told us again during night time that the mountain range was visible so we quickly opened the curtain to treat ourselves with another fantastic view. The viewing platform on the top floor is a great location to see the sunrise and golden peak. I personally think it's even better viewing at the Feilai Temple platform that most tourists go to. On a final note, Xiao Wei again was very kind to help us by going to the bus platform at 8.30 AM in the morning to help us purchase the bus tickets from the driver (we couldn't do so as wechat pay didn't work for us).
We were very happy with our stay here and got very lucky with some of the best views during our entire Yunnan trip. Thank you very much to Xiao Wei and the staff at Once Upon A Time in Meili :)

GGuest UserThere are snow-capped mountains on three sides, the White Horse Snow Mountain on the left, the Goddess Peak and the Five Crowns Peak facing each other, and the General Peak and Kawagebo's head on the right. It should be the best location in the whole Yubeng. The overall view is very clean, and the only regret is that the wooden structure is not soundproof.

GGuest UserThis stay at Fenghui Hotel was a perfect experience. The room was well-arranged and reasonably furnished, the facilities were brand new and fully equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, which made me sleep well all night. The staff was warm and thoughtful, from the patient and meticulous check-in to the caring care during the stay, which made people feel at home. The hotel restaurant has rich and delicious dishes, and the breakfast options are particularly diverse. The location is also very advantageous, with convenient transportation around and close to many attractions and shopping areas. I strongly recommend it to all travelers, and I believe you will also leave good memories here.
