Embe Enem Homestay

Homestay in Yogya does not mean what I thought homestay meant, this is more of a small hotel than a homestay but there are kitchens on both the top and bottom floor that allow guests to make as many of their own meals as they want (though it is also near so many universities that food is cheap and plentiful the moment you step outside the door). Room was simple but comfortable and self-serve breakfast (included) was fine (toast and tea/coffee) but not memorable. Each room has it's own small water-heater in the shower, so stagger showers if you have more than one person in the room. Good spot for those staying for a longer time. Comfortable, clean, and safe. Staff are friendly and helpful but do not speak a lot of English (but are patient with guest's broken Indonesian mixed with crazy sign language).
