La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Columbia NE / Fort Jackson

I checked in pretty late. It took almost an hour to finally get someone to come to the desk. Had I not booked through an app I would have gone somewhere else. They did discount the room for my troubles. The room was very clean & the complimentary breakfast was pretty good as well. Overall my stay was pretty pleasant. Even after the rocky start I would book again when I visit the area.

The hotel was very clean inside and outside. Our room was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to everyone traveling through Columbia!

This hotel was very nice for the area it was in. The staff was fast and courteous. The rooms were clean, well kept, and looked updated. The breakfast was convenient and better than expected. I stayed here for my son's "Basic" graduation and it was about 8 minutes from the base. I don't really have anything bad to say about the hotel. I would stay here again.

Everyone was very nice, and hospitable. The breakfast was good, the rooms were small but very clean. We had wifi, cable, dove soap, and a super comfy bed (best sleep I've had yet, actually). If the bathroom or room itself was a bit bigger and the pool was open i would have enjoyed it more. However, the gym was great as well. (But again, kind of small)

Very clean. Staff was extremely attentive. Check in was extremely efficient and room was exactly as advertised. Only minor gripe was the smoke detector wake up call at 5:30am. Reason stated by front desk staff was someone was smoking in their room. Not sure why this would cause smoke alarms in other rooms to make noise but it wasn't an actual fire alarm (no strobes and sound went away after one or two times...also no fire trucks!) Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed one night. The floor in our room was dirty. An article was left behind and when I called about it I was told it wasn't turned in. It was left in the room! The room didn't get cleaned or it was taken by staff.

Everything was good. Room was clean, and smelled really good too. The room and the entire loony and gym were quite modernized and well kept. Super trendy and cute! Lots of breakfast options, from waffles, fruit, hash browns, eggs and bacon! The only couple of issues were how to access the hotel, traffic gets really backed up. The second issue we had was that we were out in room 319 which is right next to the ice machine, and you could hear it all night. The third issue was that and it’s not much of an issue, but we tried to extend our stay at the front desk and we were told that it would be $122 vs booking on ******* which was showing at $98.00 plus the other fee. Which I guess going through ******* is way cheaper vs going through the hotel directly. Also, the shower has some drywall falling, but we forgot to let them know.

This is our second stay at this hotel. Our room was spotless. The staff were so courteous and the breakfast was great! Highly recommend!

A lesser quality of hotel, holy kow this hotel was better than a few 5 star hotels i have stayed at. Keep up the quality service and care. I will be back.
