The first thing that guests will love is the Mediterranean style of the urbanization (classic tiles, white facades and large terraces with wooden and forged details), its exuberant semi-tropical garden (bougainvilleas, palm trees, hibiscus, oleanders), and the Huge meandering pool that reaches almost to the beach, specially designed for young children (the average depth is 90 centimeters). All these details, together with its direct access to the sea, make Bahia Azul a unique place in its environment, since most of the surrounding urbanizations either follow standardized and impersonal models, or they are not located on the coastline.
Bahía Azul is located 5 kms away from Dénia downtown, but it has at hand all the necessary things for day to day: Miralles pharmacy, Consum supermarket, Zurbarán grocery (where there is even press), Mamma Lina, Ca Toni, Il Fratelli, Selfie Snack Bar, or L'estanyó restaurants, beach bar (from June 15 to October 15), etc. Even for those who can afford and want to indulge themselves, the Quique Dacosta restaurant (three Michelin stars) is open all year round just over 3 kilometers from home.
If what you want is to walk, there is a 10-kilometer Greenway (old readapted railway line) parallel to the coast that connects Dénia and Els Poblets or, a little further, there is the possibility of hiking or cycling around the Montgó natural park, or even climb to the top of this mountain, from where there are spectacular views.
If you want to visit Dénia, it can be done by taking the bus beside home (every 20 minutes), or by car (along the coast or along the Camino Viejo de Gandía, where it takes about six minutes).
Dénia is an endearing city, with a lot of charm, which has courts, a public hospital (marinasalud), another private (san Carlos), and another under construction (hcb group), libraries, a distance university center (uned), two markets, marina, fish market, Balearia cruise terminal to Ibiza and Formentera (two frequencies a Day), and a multitude of outdoor, cultural and leisure
