Stayed at this resort and was left thoroughly disappointed. While the restaurant staff were the shining stars of our experience, providing attentive service and meals, the rest of the hotel was lacking in nearly every aspect. It was clear that the resort has stopped investing in its facilities. Our room had stained bedsheets and pillow covers, broken furniture, a malfunctioning window handle, and a claustrophobic bathroom with poor ventilation. Given that we were traveling with someone who has breathing difficulties, I approached the front desk to request a room change or even a cancellation. Unfortunately, the staff there were unhelpful and rude, insisting that since we booked through MMT and paid in full for five days, they couldn’t accommodate us. Despite the hotel being nearly empty during our stay, they claimed they couldn’t offer a different room. After two uncomfortable nights, we contacted MMT support and were finally moved to a larger room, which was a relief. However, the buffet area was a letdown, lacking variety , quality and atmosphere. It was disheartening to see the kitchen staff working so hard to provide meals in such a poorly maintained environment, with even their uniforms looking worn and stained. Having previously enjoyed my stay at this property in 2023, the stark decline in quality in 2024 was shocking. The only positives were the prime location and the excellent restaurant staff. This hotel is currently overcharging for what amounts to less than a 3-star experience.
