We just stayed here 1 night to escape the heat in the centre of the country. Arrived at 15:00 and had a nice welcome with water and cake and a quick checkin. I guess this was a top of the bill hotel about 20 years ago, but it looked at first sight dated. This was confirmed when entering the lift and the room. Everything was functioning that is not the issue, just that it is old. Bed is ok, bathroom big enough for two. Wifi code didn't work. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice; healthy stuff and eggs and bacon, fine bread, nutella ;) fruit, etc. We didn't make use of the swimmingpool, nor the sauna and gym, so can't judge that, but it looked ok.

The hotel is quite modern and only a couple of hundred metres from the beautiful beach. Car parking is free and in the hotel grounds. Our room was clean, comfortable and warm with the most comfortable bed that we have experienced for a long time. Maelle was very friendly and helpful, with her excellent English language, and she ran to help us when one of us tripped and fell - fortunately without damage; she also took orders at dinner. The swimming pool was warm and relaxing with the robes from our bedroom. Geert 'the boss' checked us out after a very good breakfast. Thank you both Geert and Maelle, you made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

We stayed as part of a large Team Canada group and the hotel was amazing. The staff went way above and beyond! The rooms were spacious (we were 3), clean, well appointed with comfortable beds. The included breakfast was fantastic- best scrambled eggs and the kids all loved the pancakes. I really got spoiled by the fresh squeezed orange juice every morning. In the evenings we could hang out in the lobby and enjoy refreshments from the bar, which stayed open later than usual to accommodate our groups crazy competition time schedule. The staff also helped us out to plan day trips to Bruge. I would highly recommend this hotel with its friendly service , cleanliness and proximity to everything.

Very welcoming, friendly staff and excellent breakfast with 10/10 service. We stayed for 8 nights with Team Canada Dance. Hotel owner, Donny and his staff were very accommodating. Great location close to the beach and public transportation. Highly recommended

A nice hotel when you want to go to the seaside. We went with the family (grandmother, parents and children) and it was a nice gate away for everyone. It has its own parking which is nice. The rooms are clean and tidy and the breakfast buffet has a large selection. The pool is also a nice addition to this hotel experience.

We went on a road trip to Amsterdam & wanted somewhere to stay to break up the journey home so the hotel’s location was perfect for us. It had the added bonus of an electric car charger which meant we could charge over night ready for the remainder of our journey home. This is a lovely hotel with a swimming pool, sauna & steam room which we took advantage of. There’s also an extensive fitness area. The rooms were spacious & clean & the breakfast lovely. The staff were welcoming, friendly & helpful. The hotel wasn’t serving food the evening we stayed so we asked where we should go for a nice meal. The restaurant they recommended did not disappoint. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach which we had a wander to on the morning of our departure. Although it was a damp blustery morning I should imagine it’s beautiful on a warm, sunny day. Thank you for a super stay!

We had booked Hotel Donny two years ago as an overnight stop on route to the Hamburg Harley rally. Due to covid restrictions we had to carry the booking over and decided to make a weekend away. We arrived on Friday 24th June as a party of 17 pn our HarleybDavidsons and were made very welcome by the staff at reception. We were allocated a room on the first floor, very spacious comfortable and clean. Our stay included half board, the breakfast and evening meals were very well presented and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and altered a meals and starter for us. I would like to say a special thanks to the General Manager Geert who made us most welcome he was a true professional, and nothing was a problem. I would recommend this hotel and staff they get a 10/10 from me and my wife.
