Pirates Cove Resort Studios!

They are doing construction on the hotel but I didn’t notice any loud noises when we stayed.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were informed that our reservation had been canceled due to a plumbing problem, without any prior notice. There was no staff available to receive us or provide help, and we were not offered any alternative or solution to reschedule in another hotel. Total lack of professionalism and organization. I don't recommend it.

No mention of demolished pool. Upon arrival, door was open and realtor inside with another woman having a meeting. Odd. No one on site and no phone number to communicate issues ... The email instructions are incorrect on how to lock the door digitally from outside. Had issues with the a/c and tv remote. Patio door did not lock. Rusty balcony furniture. Glad we were only there one night.

Room needs work and owner unresponsive Unit needs a renovation. No cold running water in the kitchen area, a drizzle of hot. Had to wash dishes in the bathroom. Back door to balcony didn't latch so everytime we opened the front door it opened the back door. It was very windy and cold for Daytona all week so when we'd leave the back door would open and we'd come back to a cold room. The king bed was great, good matress but 1 very flat pillow. The 2nd bed was broken. When you sat on it it nearly fell apart. No blankets. Said non smoking room but there had definitely been smoking in the room. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke so always look for a non-smoking room but this one had been smoked in recently. A number of electrical plugs didn't work. Owner said to let him know if we had problems, texted him about the water in the kitchen and got no response so i didn't bother about the other stuff.

It was overbooked so we did not get the king bed with ocean view that we reserved. The beds were old and uncomfortable, the shower was only warm, no hot water, the balcony door did not lock, the TV had very bad clarity, beach chairs were rusty and not operative. This was a very bad experience. I don’t recommend staying at Pirate cove.

Lookout this is not good. The Internet will not stay on it comes on for 30inutes then is off for hours. The owners management company andanager are horrible. The property management company is great but the manager associated with the owner is one very unprofessional individual.
