This was the most surprising night of this trip. The price was very affordable because we booked early, and the front desk even upgraded our room when we checked in. It was really great! Follow the navigation and turn up at position 8. You can also drive up easily if you rent a Bora. The decoration is very new, the view outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is eye-catching, the afternoon tea is local snacks, and after checking in, you can register to help buy tickets to Detian Waterfall the next day. Breakfast is also Vietnamese style. After eating, you can stroll to the entrance of the scenic spot in 5 minutes, which is really convenient!

I saw someone recommend rice noodles for breakfast, but I personally think they are a bit light. It would be better if the glass windows were wiped brighter.

Being able to stay in such a treasured hotel in Daxin really adds to the journey. Even though many hotels are fully booked and the price is affordable, I booked it for three nights and had a great stay. The most surprising thing is the food in the hotel. We originally thought we were too tired and just had a meal at the hotel. Unexpectedly, all the dishes surprised us, especially the bone fish, which was extremely fresh and tender. The rice noodles for breakfast were also delicious. I rent electric cars, and the boss’s service is very considerate. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Amazing stay at Yunlu. Amazing service from the wonderful staff. Extremely quiet location. Beautiful scenery around. Great breakfast (no buffet). Large rooms with great views. Even a small pool (more for children). I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay. The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks. I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes. Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant). I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”.

The proprietress sister could also help to book tickets together. The overall experience is the most comfortable homestay we have stayed in Chongzuo. It is clean, hygienic, caring and enthusiastic. There are special dishes to order. It is delicious and not expensive. When we leave, we also come out to see you at the door. It is like a friend who has known you for a long time.
