Transportation: It is recommended to drive here. It is really remote. I have been worried about the security situation. It is okay to drive here. I have not seen any transportation so far. It is very close to Detian Waterfall in a few minutes. Special experience: The scenic area is probably deserted. There are not many people. The only boundary monument of the China-Vietnam border is visible. There are a pile of strange-shaped stones in the scenic area🪨. The food nearby is also ordinary. Don't have too many fantasies. Room facilities: The hotel is very old. I booked a single-family house. I was a little scared to live in the main building. The only dining facilities are provided by the hotel. It is not very warm in January. You can wear a down jacket. The sound insulation in the room is terrible. There is no cost-effectiveness. There are not many customers in the hotel as a whole. There are self-organized activities such as hiking, etc. I came on January 10th. It is not hot to wear a down jacket and it is not cold to wear single clothes. But his air conditioner is not hot. I was freezing to death when I slept at night. .

This hotel was amazing! Every aspect was built with comfort, beauty and relaxation in mind. The setting of the hotel is in the perfect spot right on the river and surrounded by towering mountains.They should add ”resort” to the name. The room was plush and spacious with a great view of both river and mountains. The infinity pool is amazing and built for relaxation. It has comfortable cabana style lounge chairs literally in the pool. The staff is very attentive and met every need. They also provide shuttle service to the river rafting starting point and provide bicycles for riding around the countryside. (The hotel is also the end point of the river rafting trip.) The only downside is that the hotel is difficult to get to. Apparently there are plans to make this town into a tourist destination. Most of the major roads were torn up and the facades of most buildings are under construction. Even with that, being at the resort makes all that irrelevant. If you need a place to wash all your stress away, this is the perfect place. If I had one recommendation, it would be to think about foreign guests in terms of adult beverages. There is a beautiful bar right next to the pool... but one doesn't want tea while at the pool. Everything else about this hotel is perfect.

The room is really hard to describe. Maybe the old kapok operated by the same company will be much better than the flower house. There are many problems with the water pressure in the room and sewerage. The breakfast was just okay, but there was no free or paid coffee in the entire hotel. . However, the hotel area is indeed very large. If you have plenty of time, it would be nice to go shopping and climb the mountains. In a duplex room, there are many screws exposed on the stairs, which is unsafe, and the stair handrails are damaged, so be careful when bringing children. Everything is good in Chongzuo, but I won't come again. . .

Amazing stay at Yunlu. Amazing service from the wonderful staff. Extremely quiet location. Beautiful scenery around. Great breakfast (no buffet). Large rooms with great views. Even a small pool (more for children). I cannot say enough good things about the amazing service that the staff provided. Joyous staff. Good feelings. Not much English spoken (well basically none as is usual in China based on my experience) but with the help of the various apps and a positive attitude this is practically not a real issue. It can even be fun. Anyway they fulfilled all my requests and more than that (incl. for the breakfast as I suffer from diabetes) and always made sure I was happy and enjoying my stay. The rooms I had (2 stays) were very large. The air conditioning was very efficient and silent. The views were so enjoyable (yes out there in Mingshi there are better views of course but still). The large bed was very comfortable. Big sofa, tables, chairs ... and a lot of space. Nice bathroom with good shower. A fridge was available and included some ”free” drinks. I found the location perfect as it is not in the village itself but on the other side of the little river. So it is very quiet. A very short drive to the village and even walking requires no more than 30 minutes. Restaurants are only available in the village and bike rentals are way cheaper in the village too. I would certainly not recommend the local shop close to the hotel for rentals as the deals proposed are absurd (well prices the owner articulated were simply exorbitant). I will definitely return to Mingshi as I loved the region and there is so much to discover. I will quite certainly look no further than the Yunlu. Location. Peacefulness. But above all because of the extraordinary customer friendly attitude and the good spirit of the ”team”.
