Datong Inns

The room is clean and spacious. The hostess gave us fresh fruits. The place is quiet in the day and night. Hotel is located opposite Huayan Temple and convenienfly walking distances to Drum / Bell tower and city walls. It’s also walking distance to 2 famous FenglinGe restaurant and Xijin Road Noodle Restaurant (喜晋道•面馆) and Fenglinge (凤临阁) - definitely must try for gourmet wannabes.

Two adults and two children traveled to Datong. They wanted to live together and find a place with convenient transportation. Finally, they chose the big kang room of Gujia Inn. Although the room is not big, the kang is really big. The four of us can sleep comfortably. I was worried about whether it would be cold before, but this worry was really unnecessary. There is a parking lot in front of the door. The Drum Tower is not far from the hotel. You can go shopping on the southeast side of the Drum Tower. There are many restaurants and snacks around. Huayan Temple, Dai Wangfu, and Nine Dragon Wall are also nearby. If you want to walk around the ancient city, the location of this hotel is really convenient. It's my first time here. The boss has prepared a map, and you can get one at the front desk. When I left the hotel, I was given Shanxi specialty old vinegar. I really think that the cost-effectiveness of tourism in Datong is really high👍

Great service, staff was so nice, rooms are new and western style, and location is perfect to walk around the ancient city. Would definitely recommend staying here.

My family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed at 陆合景客栈 for 2 nights when we visited Datong. The hotel was very beautiful, and the family room was excellent. The beds we comfortable, and the room was very well equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel was very nicely decorated to match the atmosphere of the ancient city. I would like to especially give commendations to Ms 任红霞 and Mr 付强. Both of them provided exceptionally good service during our stay and made sure that all our questions and needs were fulfilled. They are exceptional staff of the hotel and I hope the hotel management rewards them for their hard work. Highly recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for accommodation in Datong ancient city.

I was lucky to be able to live in this inn on this trip. The boss was very enthusiastic and added WeChat to introduce all food, lodging and play in great detail. The sanitation of the inn is also very good. Every day I go out and come back, the rooms are cleaned and the supplies are arranged in a regular manner. The location of the inn is even better, Huayan Temple and Shanhua Temple are very close, they can all walk past. Dai Wangfu, Kowloon Wall is not far away, saving a lot of time and transportation costs. Opposite the inn is the net red knife noodles Xijin Road, which tastes good! In addition, Zini 369, Longju Xianghe is said to have invested hundreds of millions of decoration Fenglin Pavilion is nearby. This stay experience is very good, I will choose here next time I come here!

We specially chose the inn in the ancient city. The location of the inn is very good. Although it is in the ancient city, it is close to the bell tower of the ancient city. It is 100 meters from the inn to the boarding point. It is only 10 minutes away from Longjuxiang Shaomai and 369 Coarse Grain Store, not to mention that Xijinfan Noodle House is right next to it. The friends in the inn are very kind. Their service has started since we got off the plane. They sent us the location of the inn in advance, helped us deliver our luggage to the room, and also provided facial masks and Sam's snacks. The equipment in the guest room was also clearly introduced one by one. There is a humidifier in the guest room. Although the floor heating is turned on, the body does not feel very dry. The toiletries set is also equipped with an electric toothbrush. We set off early every day, and the breakfast time was originally 7:30, but it was specially advanced to 7 o'clock for us. The breakfast is first-class, fresh and delicious, which is very suitable for the taste of us southerners. My mother especially wanted to try the millet porridge in Shanxi, and the friends in the inn specially took a bowl from their employee meal for her. My mother has been thinking about it since she returned to Guangzhou. If you want to stay in the ancient city of Datong, you can book their place with confidence, you will be pleasantly surprised.

The location is convenient. It is not far from Chunyang Palace, Shanhua Temple, Huayan Temple and Drum Tower on foot. The Bronze Museum is just outside the door. It is small but beautiful. I took my children to see it carefully. The children remembered four kinds of ritual vessels, Ding (cooking), Hu (water), You (wine), Gui (grain). Ding is an odd number and Gui is an even number. The emperor has nine Dings and eight Gui, the princes have seven Dings and six Gui, the literati have five Dings and four Gui, and the Yuan Dynasty scholars have three Dings (or one Ding) and two Gui. Breakfast buns, steamed buns, millet porridge is delicious Take a bath with an electric water heater for 20 minutes, then wait 20 minutes before using it. It's OK if you're not in a hurry.

You have to stay here! Everything is perfect. Hotel is lovely. Staff are so welcoming and helpful. We had a problem and one staff member had excellent English and could solve our problem. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Thank you again, I highly recommend your hotel.

The service of Datong Ancient City Phoenix Inn is really nothing to say. The staff are very warm and thoughtful, making me feel the warmth of home. The atmosphere in the inn is great and the service is in place, making me feel the warmth of home during my trip. highly recommended!

Small and nice hotel, small but adequate room. Our room had a bathroom downstairs and stairs to get to the bed. The bed was very hard, the mattress was very thin, but we slept well. The shower was magnificent, although it was one of those open ones, and the toilet had jets. They leave you bottles of water every day and they gave us a small piece from the little vase shop they have as soon as we arrive, very nice. The only drawback is that the receptionists hardly speak English and they couldn't tell us the best way to get to the temple and the grottos, or prices or anything. The only thing we got was that we could go by taxi or bus. The next day we tried to get them to tell us where to catch the bus and we weren't able to understand each other, although they are nice, the language is a significant barrier.
