Spacious room, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were more than adequate with a choice of varieties. Hotel location was ok just outside the wall though neighbouring shops were all shuttered. Taxis plentiful and inexpensive. Nightly dinner was at the hotel restaurant - good food, surprisingly very affordable prices and extremely good services from the staff. What stood out most were the very helpful, cheerful staff, at the front desk, restaurants, and cleaners!

The hotel is situated not far from the old walled town and equal distance to the shopping area. Formerly a Holiday Inn now independent. The rooms are large and comfortable with good work desk and wifi. Comfortable bed gives good rest. The fridge had been removed but there is kettle and plenty of water, every day some fruit was delivered to the room which I appreciated. Hotel has gym, swimming pool and two restaurant, given the price it was very good value for money and I would happily stay again.

The hotel is in a good location with the ancient city behind it. The room is decorated in a beautiful European style with an artistic atmosphere, clean and tidy. At night, you can see the scenery of the ancient city after the lights are on outside the window. The bathroom facilities are a little old, after all, it is a renovation of an old hotel. The breakfast is varied and rich, and the knife-cut noodles are really delicious. Parking is convenient with security guidance.

An attractive, lots of marble, new hotel in Datong, well situated midway between the high speed train station and Datong’s trip venues. Breakfast is an excellent option with many Chinese and western choices in a unique setting. The staff is modestly bilingual and attentive. Good choices in Chinese restaurants about a 10 minute walk away. Rooms are large and very clean. Most western guests will find the internet access challenging. The Yungang caves are a 20 minute taxi ride. Downtown’s temples are 10 minutes away.

The room is spacious, the bedding is comfortable, the sanitary environment is beautiful and clean, the breakfast is rich, both Chinese and Western food are available, and the Chinese restaurant also has Shanxi specialties, especially the sea buckthorn juice is worth recommending! It is worthy of being a five-star hotel, and I will stay in Beidu next time!

The hotel is located in a good location near shops Nd the old town sights. The rooms are large and the service on the executive floor was excellent, fresh fruit everyday not just once. The restaurant and room service are open lunch and diner time only, no late meals. Extensive breakfast is available. There is a bar but did not see many users. Did not see any gym or pool but it is possible I missed them. The bed was very comfortable and the high speed station (less than 2 hours to Beijng) is about 30 minutes away by taxi. Very enjoyable would revisit.

It is recommended to be frugal and not waste. The room smelled when I checked in. The store made timely adjustments. The small courtyard was very quiet, but the weather was cold and I couldn't enjoy it. Communicate with the store in advance before checking in. They will pick you up at the entrance of the ancient city. It's very considerate. The service staff in the store are very enthusiastic. The room is large and has floor heating. It's very warm when you enter the door

Datong Xinyu Crown Hotel, decided to go to Datong on a whim. I didn't buy a ticket at first, but the ticket was released a few days later. I found that there were basically no hotels in the old city that could be booked. I found that this hotel was close to Datong South Station and could be picked up at the train station, so I chose this one. As it turned out, it was a good choice. The hotel's facilities are relatively new and the rooms are relatively large. The service is quite good. We arrived early in the morning. Well, the housekeeping manager picked us up in a special car, and then we checked into the hotel directly. It was only 8 o'clock in the morning. The hotel is still quite humane. The breakfast for the next day was put on the morning of the previous day, and the hotel met all the requirements. Free water, fruit, and snacks were given. Overall, I was very satisfied. I also gave a bath ticket, so I could go to the bath center to experience it. Some small details are still very good, such as the laundry detergent on the sink, which is convenient for guests who go out. He recommended Datong's special restaurants, snacks and tourist attractions in great detail, gave us welcome fruits, and thoughtfully asked the waiter to bring a humidifier. The room is very comfortable, and the smart phone is a highlight. The evening buffet and breakfast are great, rich in variety and delicious. I especially recommend the haggis, which tastes great. I am very grateful to Bai Xuefeng, Wu Yanchun and Zhang Zhifang from the Western Restaurant for their warm and thoughtful service during the meal. It was the warm service of the above four people that made our trip to Wyndham very satisfying and comfortable.

After handing the ID card to the female supervisor at the front desk, she asked the name of the person who made the reservation with the ID card in her hand. I was confused for a while and said it was on the ID card. She asked the name of the person who made the reservation for the second time. Is the hotel front desk supervisor illiterate? Booked 2 rooms, and asked me if I should open one first? Three people have ID cards in hand to open one? I want to ask the hotel management about this sentence, how did they train these questions? ② Handed me the room card and said it was OK. I asked if I could use the room card for breakfast? She said the breakfast voucher was in the room card. (The breakfast coupon is on the back of the room number paper) They didn't tell me what time the meal started, which floor the breakfast was on, how to get to the guest room from the left and right elevators, where the bathroom was, and whether to use the room card to go to the bathroom. Everything depended on the guests themselves. ③ Aren't these questions asked by the guests the most basic things that the front desk should tell the guests? He said explanation, not apology. He said it was busy during the Spring Festival, and there was no disrespect. I didn't let him continue, and directly said that there were no other guests when I checked in, so there was no reason to be busy. When asking me the reservation information for the second time, he stared at the guest and asked while flicking his right hair. These small actions that disrespected people, to be honest, I was so angry at the time, but I thought that it was also the seventh day of the first ***** month when I took my parents out for a trip, so I endured it. The fruit plate was not eaten. Eating people's hands is short, which affects the truthful evaluation.
