Excellent hotel! The service was exceptional. The ladies at the reception were amazing. They booked us a taxi for visiting the great Buddhas and they provided us with a breakfast picnic bag when we left too early in the morning. The hotel is situated just a few minutes walk from the old town. Quite handy. There is a free laundry room that we could use for our clothes. Much needed! The buffet breakfast was delightful and varied. Perfect stay!

The location is not too bad, it is within a cluster of many newly built homestays. I chose this place for its zen design style and it is newly opened, and i read in thr review that there was free coffee provided during breakfast. Therefore i was rather dissappointed when i found out that there is no such thing, coffee is chargeable. I was glad that i brought my own drip coffee to supplement the breakfast. Although my room was eligible for 2 breakfasts, i was only provided with 1 set of breakfast and not offered any replacement for the other breakfast set that i did not take. The room size is just nice for 1 person with luggage. Bathroom+toilet was quite large in comparison to the bedroom. My room overlook the opposite facility, the window can be opened to let in fresh air. There is washing machine+dryer on the ground floor. The girls at the lobby was nice to help me manage my laundry. I was glad that i could use the large table at the lobby for my work. It is an irony that there is a non smoking signboard in the room together with an ashtray....

Fantastic service, friendly, helpful, very clean and spacious rooms, really nice view over the river and at night with all of the lights. Breakfast is good, the facilities are clean and presentable. The room was quiet and the window can be opened if you want fresh air or to cool down the room a bit, the ac works too to cool it down in winter but that’s recirculated air with some people smoking in non-smoking rooms (typical). Our room did not smell which was great and although we had neighbours we could not hear them, so good for light sleepers. Only downside is the bed is firm. Quick 10 minute didi to the ancient city, malls, delicious lunch and food places. The hotel organised a driver to take us to the hanging temple, yungang grottoes and then to a delicious local restaurant very affordable, helpful, reliable and kind driver (WeChat: 永恒). Also recommend going to the art gallery and museum only 10 mins away. It’s a good location.

Enjoy beyond expectation, avoid the holiday by traveling off-peak, take the whole family to Datong, which is popular around Beijing, on Sunday, and find this new homestay with super value. The decoration style is simple but not simple, the materials are genuine, and the sincerity of the owner of this homestay is everywhere. First of all, when you enter the guest room, you will see a large plate of seasonal fresh fruits and a large plate of snacks to welcome you, which gives people a sense of surprise and warmth. The children are happy to clamor for food. Secondly, the guest room is spacious and bright, with a large aluminum alloy bay window that is clean and bright. The sun shines into the room, which is warm and comfortable. Thirdly, the various smart devices in the guest room reflect that the owner keeps pace with the times. Smart curtains, smart toilets, smart lighting, and smart TVs are all big brands, high-end, and the configuration is no less than or even higher than that of a five-star hotel. The biggest surprise for the children is that it is also equipped with a large bathtub. After a day of travel, take a bubble bath, which is both refreshing and exciting. For example, the boss suggested buying tickets early, going to the Hanging Temple early in the morning (there is a limited flow in the temple scenic area, which can avoid long queues), and arranging the itinerary to go to the hot food punch-in store (avoid long queues). The owner of the B&B is warm and hospitable. This Datong family weekend trip is quite successful. I sincerely recommend this B&B to everyone to experience the same wonderful journey as me.

We were warmly greeted by friendly staff upon arrival, making us feel welcome right away. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the team went the extra mile to help us register on their app as we are foreigners, ensuring we could easily access Wi-Fi and contact them if needed. We had called ahead to request a humidifier and air purifier, and were pleased to find them already prepared in our room when we checked in. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the inclusion of an electric toilet with a heated seat was a thoughtful touch, especially during the winter season. Throughout our stay, every staff member we encountered was genuinely helpful and sincere in their service, always making sure we were well taken care of. We initially planned to stay from 6/12/24 to 8/12/24 but felt so at home that we decided to extend our stay for an additional two days. A big thank you to the team at Mecure Hotel for their exceptional service and attention to detail. Me and my Husband had agreed this is best hotel in our 17 days China trip. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to returning in the future. Great job!

The room is spacious, with smart curtains, robot delivery, and smart toilet. The front desk and lobby restaurant are connected, with an artistic design. I like the lobby lounge area that is naturally divided into several small areas by partitions and furniture, which is private. There is also a table football machine. The layout of the lobby has a lazy inn atmosphere. The service staff at the front desk and guest rooms are warm, polite and hospitable, and feel at home. The airport high-speed rail station pick-up makes up for the hotel's location being a little far from the ancient city or commercial center. It would be better if the pick-up time could be extended, after all, there are still many planes and trains after 18:00. The free delivery to the Yungang Grottoes and the 2-hour tour guide explanation make the 240 yuan room rate worth it. The breakfast is very rich. I ate it for three days and I could choose different dishes every day.

I chose this hotel because it is just a twenty minute walk north of Datong South Station. It is right next to Fantawild amusement park, so is a good choice for families (Most of the guests were families with young kids). Everything inside the hotel is brand new. One of the hosts at reception was exceptional, and she not only offered wonderful device and care to me but also to every guest I saw her interacting with (I didn't learn her name, alas). One interesting note: I stayed there on a Friday and Saturday night, and there was a firework show on both evenings in Fanatwild next door. The booming sound startled me at first, but I quickly realized what it was.

A very good hotel located in Datong New District. It is very convenient to arrive by car. It has ground parking spaces and underground parking lots. The rooms have comprehensive smart facilities and quick check-in. It is a little far from the ancient city and the commercial district, but it is very close to the highway, which is especially suitable for self-driving accommodation. [Room] The twin room has a large enough area, and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the scenery below. It has a Xiaodu voice intelligent control system (including air conditioning control and telephone functions) and is equipped with a small refrigerator. The single bed of the twin bed is relatively wide, the mattress is soft, and the bed is relatively short compared to mainstream hotels, but the overall comfort is very good. The shower room is large enough, the water temperature and water output are excellent, especially the overhead shower is simply a benefit in winter. With the blessing of hot water, it is relatively comfortable even in winter when the temperature is very low. The downside is that there is no night light, and all functions rely too much on Xiaodu. The lighting modes selected by the physical buttons are limited, and the left and right sides are different. The air conditioning panel is particularly hidden behind Xiaodu. I didn't find it the first time and asked the waiter. [Service] The service efficiency is relatively high, and the cleaning is fast. Every time I come back, the cleaning is complete. However, I have indeed seen a more frugal hotel. I stayed for three nights and didn't change the big bath towel once. The towel was taken away later and I forgot to put a new one. It didn't affect it, but I felt that I needed to pay attention. [Breakfast] Breakfast is on the second floor. The breakfast coupons given by the front desk in advance are used. It starts at 7 o'clock, but I feel that the breakfast variety is a bit inconsistent with the huge restaurant area, and the selection is relatively single. Maybe it's because of the local taste. The knife-cut noodles are good, and small wontons are also provided, but it feels a bit worse without fried dough sticks.

This time, from April 13 to April 15, I stayed in the family room of Datong Tongshe Chajimeishe with my parents, husband and children, and felt very caring and warm service. The room is clean and tidy, full of details, especially the mugwort foot bath and white fungus soup, which makes people feel relaxed and warm like at home. Xiaodu smart devices are the icing on the cake. Whether it is checking the weather, listening to music or controlling the room equipment, it is very convenient and the experience is excellent. The most commendable thing is the front desk service. The staff is dedicated and careful, always paying attention to the needs of the guests, and providing us with very caring and thoughtful help. This is a good place with both aesthetics and human touch. I will choose here next time I come to Datong! I came to Datong to watch a concert and chose a niche brand that I had never stayed at before. Because it was also a chain brand owned by a group, I felt it was safe.
