Palaia Hotel Datça

Altan and his staff including Ömer at the restaurant created an absolutely spectacular experience at Palaia. After our first night we were so thrilled we decided to extend our 3-day trip to 4-days because of the hotel. The website photos don’t fully capture how tastefully and thoughtfully the Palaia Hotel is designed and built. The rooms were spacious and well appointed with little different food snacks provided each day. The pool, beach and dining experiences were all excellent but it was really the very friendly, welcoming and attentive Altan and the whole staff that made the stay so special. My wife and I cannot recommend more highly. Simply a perfect stay.

The best hotel in Datça, with its unique architecture, utmost luxury, wonderful exterior and interior room design which made our family stay so unforgettable. We loved the paysage decorated with diverse plants from all over the world. Access to the beautiful beach and great swimming pool makes it a great place to relax during summer holidays. The restaurant offers delicious food choices served by people passionate about making guests feel special. We loved this hotel and will come back again for sure!

Words are not enough to describe the way the entire team at Palaia made us feel throughout our stay. The view of our room was such a unique touch, gorgeous architecture designs with a view of the sea and sky in superb colors both sunrise and sunset while smelling perfume like botanics. The food too was outstanding, equal to a Michelin restaurant and service impeccable. ( Special thanks to the GM Ercan & Chef Nihat & Mgr Ömer & Pelin ) The staff are all professionals who bring the best of the Turkish culture and warmth, with a genuine smile and willingness to do everything to enjoy your stay, which is in fact the ideology of Palaia brand and values. This was a truly 5 star stay and I would highly recommend this hotel with all my heart to those who want something different. Palaia is not just an ordinary hotel, all settled to live unbelievable moments in Datça. Quite frankly, Palaia is one of my best places to stay at Turkey so far. Thank you so very much to all team for making our trip so perfect and unforgettable, I'm sure we'll see you again asap !

Amazing meal! 10/10 and the staff, so kind and wonderful! View was spectacular. The plates were perfect for sharing and the quality was so good. Great presentation and even some nice local wines from turkey!

One of the best 7 stars hotel. I stayed at this very new hotel 3 nights , we arrived at the reception we had a great welcome and best lemon juice, it takes 3 minutes to finish the check in Mr. Emrecan was very professional and helpful he told us about the hotel facilities during he guide us to the room thanks Mr. Emrecan . The room was very big .The furniture is of a high level of luxury and comfort the garden was Overlooking the sea and beautiful . There is large beautiful swimming pool in front the restaurant, the breakfast was amazing taste carefully selected and environmentally friendly . The beach is good the see water is clear the staff on the beach area take care of you and your comfort. All the staf was professional and helpful. We strongly recommend Palaia hotel and we'll come again

If you visit Datca don’t miss a meal at Palaia restaurant which is situated as a part of the beautiful Palaia hotel next to the sea. I had the opportunity to eat there many times while visiting a Turkish friend in Datca for the summer. The beautiful and elegant design of the hotel and restaurant has a very calming effect on one especially after the bustle of downtown Datca at night. But it is the award winning and Master chef Nihat Doğtürk who takes the cooking and transformation of food and elevates it to an art form. A truly gifted chef his delicious food makes the whole culinary experience at Palaia so worth a visit. Whether it’s the fresh grilled sea bass served over baby potatoes in a light basil sauce or the signature pasta dish with fresh shrimp, baby octopus, and muscles cooked in an exquisite tomato sauce, you will love the food. I have never had such delicious fresh fish cooked with such care and layers of flavor. Begin with a tasty salad and end with a luscious dessert and you won’t be disappointed. The service is attentive, efficient, and very friendly. Reasonably priced, make a visit to this first rate restaurant a top priority next time you are in Datca.
