Iolida Corfu Resort & Spa by Smile Hotels

We spent 11 nights, we were a family with 2 older teens. It was ideal for us. The staff in the bar were extremely friendly, special mention to those working in the restaurant who never stopped and ensured the environment was spotless 24/7. Extra special mention to the 2 ladies who cleaned floor 3, we were in room 334. What a friendly pair, always a smile on their faces and they kept the rooms spotless. Not a criticism here but I wouldn't recommend families with young children as there are alot of stairs, especially from the bar down to the pool. The pool areas are also more for older children. There is quite a depth from the pool side into the childrens pool. Again not a negative but more for information for others with babies and young children. We had a fabulous holiday, 5 mins walk from the beach where we experienced a beautiful sunrise.

The staff were very friendly especially the bar staff, Theo and Stavros, and Alexis on reception. The hotel was clean and well appointed and there was food to meet every need/dietary requirement. Two pools, one quiet and one more lively with organized games.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The rooms are new and beautifully renovated — very clean, modern, and comfortable. The food was delicious with a good variety, and the drinks at the bar were also great. We were especially impressed with the animation team — they did an amazing job keeping everyone entertained from morning till night. A special thank you to Oksana and Gonzalo! Their energy, positivity, and creativity made our holiday truly unforgettable. Highly recommended, and we would love to come back again!

We’ve just returned from a lovely stay at this hotel and couldn’t be more pleased with our experience overall. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Kiki at reception, who was friendly, informative, and made us feel right at home. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade to a suite – such a thoughtful touch that really set the tone for our stay. The suite itself was beautiful, spacious, and offered stunning sea views. With two bedrooms, a comfortable lounge area, and a well-equipped bathroom, it was perfect for our family. The room also included tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, and plenty of space to relax. It was clean, well-maintained, and the beds were very comfy. To top it off, we were gifted a bottle of wine and a fruit basket for our anniversary – a truly special gesture we really appreciated. The hotel grounds are lovely and very well maintained. The pool area was a highlight, featuring a large main pool and a smaller one, with no stress over sunbeds – the area opens at 10am, which avoids the usual early morning rush to reserve spots. However, we did notice that the pool was not cleaned during the first three days of our stay and had visible residue and floating debris, suggesting it hadn’t been maintained properly for a while. After emailing the hotel, the pool was cleaned that very evening, and from then on, staff were regularly seen maintaining it daily, which made a noticeable difference. The cocktail selection is somewhat limited, and it's worth noting that drinks like piña coladas aren’t included in the all-inclusive package. That said, we each found something we liked, even if the menu was a bit basic – for example, one “cocktail” was essentially just vodka, lime, and soda. Also it was hit and miss if you got a glass or not, sometimes we got a paper cup! Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, though we did encounter two bar staff members who didn’t quite meet the same standard of service and perhaps aren't best suited for customer-facing roles. On a brighter note, the entertainment team was fantastic, especially Oksana – she made us feel welcome from day one and was an absolute joy throughout our stay. The food was great, with a good variety at every meal, and we all found plenty of options to enjoy. The location is a little remote, but easily manageable. The old town is about a 30-minute bus ride away, and we also walked to Ipsos in around 45 minutes. Conveniently, bus stops in both directions are right outside the hotel, and the hotel shop sells tickets at a lower price than on the bus. Would we stay again? Absolutely! we came home with lovely memories of our time here.

We arrived for a 3 night stay after our 7 night cruise. We received a wonderful warm welcome from Kiki, who was so helpful and kind throughout our stay. We had a beautiful sea view suite with 2 bedrooms and interconnecting balconies for the 4 of us. The wonderful Anthony helped us with our luggage, he's an absolute star. The decor is simple, clean and stylish. The food was plentiful and delicious each meal.. I especially enjoyed the desserts!! There are 2 pools, a gym, spa and shop on site. The hotel location is perfect for the beach (5 minute walk), the bus stop (1 minute walk!) With great access on the number 7 bus to Corfu old town. We also visited Paleocastritsa one day on the buses. Bar staff were attentive. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Plenty of sunloungers, which weren't 'reserved' each day thankfully. A great mix of nationalities, which we love on holiday. A curtesy room was available as we had an afternoon airport transfer. We thoroughly recommend Iolida and would absolutely return. We stayed at Iolida Corfu Resort & Spa in room 708 for the period 25/7/2025 to 1/8/2025, on a full-board basis. Our room was spacious, modern, clean and fully equipped. The mattresses and pillows were excellent, being conducive to a restful, relaxed sleep. The hotel offered a huge variety of very tasty dishes, salads, fruit and sweets, all nicely prepared and served. All the hotel staff were always courteous, helpful and effective. A big "Thank You" to them all, especially to the people at the reception who gave us guidance and directions on all matters pertaining to our stay in Corfu; they made our stay in Corfu so much easier and more enjoyable. The hotel public areas were beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. Also, the hotel gardens were very beautiful, a joy to walk in. Furthermore, from our room and from most areas of the hotel we could see the sea! The hotel was a 20-minute bus ride from the centre of Corfu town; however, the bus stop was right outside the hotel gate. For the keen swimmers, there were two swimming pools at the hotel and the beach was only a 5-minute walk away. On the negative side, in our room area there were many mosquitoes – a mosquito killer spray is a must-have item. Also, on some days, in the evenings the Wi-Fi was an on-off affair – it affected TV reception too. All-in-all, an excellent hotel choice! We will call again.
