"We had an amazing time staying at this homestay. The wife and husband who run it are so pure and lovely, we had such a laugh with them while trying to communicate in different languages, they are full of joy! The hotel itself is really lovely, very traditional design of the area and with fantastic views from the 3 terraces! The food was unbelievable, all grown by the family, pesticide free, and cooked freshly to perfection. Dinner was very well priced as well and super handy as we didn’t have a car. The lovely hostess even made us a packed lunch when we said we were going on a hike, and accommodated us with a very early breakfast when we had an early morning bus to catch. They also booked us a taxi which was super helpful. We loved staying here, it had a very homely vibe, would 100% recommend."

"The services given by Mr Lee the owner is excellent. He introduced me to another taxi to take me out and show me Danba attraction. As I am alone and the price quoted was too high I do not want to go with the taxi driver. Finally Mr Lee offered to take me to Suopo for free. However we both struck a deal that is acceptable to both of us. We then visited 3 attractions with Mr. Lee introducing me to all the 3 attractions. It was nice. Thank you Mr. Lee. I will come to Danba again with my family in future."

"Dear tourists, please note that you must purchase an additional ticket to enter the hotel. This applies to all businesses inside. I was ripped off; I had to read through every text interface before even seeing the key information – it's all about big advertising and small details avoiding responsibility. This was the worst part of my trip – Danba County. The Culture and Tourism Bureau did absolutely nothing, even helping the businesses explain that while they were offering free ticket vouchers, you had to use the voucher first to check into the hotel. It's a ridiculous arrangement! In other scenic areas, hotels don't operate this way; the scenic area and the business usually have prior arrangements, or the business contacts customers to inform them of the key information. But here, nothing happened. Sigh… That night at 10:30, I was there with my child, struggling to communicate, and several other groups of tourists were equally confused. It was all incredibly frustrating."
