The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

First of all, I want to say that, as netizens have commented, the service of the store is very warm and thoughtful, and there are especially heartwarming greetings when you come in and out. I stayed in a family room for four nights. The room is fully equipped with new facilities. The intelligence gives people the experience of a high-star hotel, and the sanitary conditions are good. It is very close to Dali Port and the railway station, and it is convenient to eat around. What is particularly touching is that during my stay it happened to be the Lantern Festival, and the warm-hearted store also gave me dumplings! I also want to praise the cleaning lady for her meticulous hygiene! I will stay here again when I go to Dali next time!

We stayed at the Dali BoMan Sea View Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. While we didn’t expect it to be located in a condominium building, this added a sense of safety and privacy. The hotel is situated on the highest floor, offering breathtaking views from the room. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the room itself was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, even going the extra mile to offer us hot milk every evening—a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Although the hotel is about a 30-minute ride from Dali Ancient City by Didi, it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. Coming from Singapore, we appreciated that halal food was relatively easy to find in the area, though the best options were closer to the ancient city. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for stunning views, a clean and comfortable stay, and attentive service. Just keep in mind the slightly longer travel time to the ancient city if you’re planning frequent trips there.

The location is close to Dali Railway Station but quite far from Santorini Dali and Dali Ancient City. I rate the location as excellent because, realistically, you can’t have everything perfect, so we chose the one nearest to the railway station. Overall, everything was good, and the staff, or perhaps the owner, was attentive at first. However, on the day we were leaving, we were supposed to check out at 12 PM. I couldn’t reach the staff to store my luggage (I wasn’t sure where the storage was). So, we went about our day and headed to Longkan Wharf, returning at 12:04 PM. To my surprise, the lock had automatically changed right at 12 PM, which I wasn’t informed about, and our luggage was still inside the hotel. We had a train to catch at 12:56 PM. I tried contacting the hotel via WeChat, but no one responded. We asked the guard for help, but he couldn’t do much except try calling the owner, who didn’t answer. Finally, around 1 PM, the owner responded, saying his phone was broken. Unfortunately, we missed our train. I acknowledge it was my fault for not checking out exactly at 12 PM, but the lack of response from the owner left us without a place to store our luggage. Next time, it would be helpful if the hotel informed guests about the lock system and responded promptly to messages. That was our bad experience. If it hadn’t happened, I would have rated the stay a solid 5/5. But, things happen.

Traveling with my family, I booked this sea view hotel. It was close to the station and it was easier to find a taxi. The little guy who received us was very enthusiastic and would contact us in advance and wait for us at the door. The suitcase was heavy and he would help us carry our luggage. The room was fully equipped and clean. It was right outside the Erhai Lake, which was very convenient for shopping. The guy in the room told me immediately when something was left in the room. It was really a very good experience!

Simply amazing! I’ve never had any hotel call me in seconds of having booked a room to verify my details of arrival so as to arrange VIP pick up. Courtesy fruit, courtesy night dessert, 24h courtesy noodles, courtesy pick up and drop off, courtesy everything! I’ve been left speechless with the outstanding service and attention to detail. If you’re staying in Dali and wish to be near the city and old town while having the most spectacular views and living spaces of Erhai Lake, then don’t think twice and book this place! Huge thanks to the staff for their professionalism and friendliness.

The hotel is merely 5mins walk away from the beautiful Dali Railway Station. The room is super high tech with Xiao Du voice control. The room is clean and has all the things you need. Spent two fantastic nights there. You can take bus no. 8 at the bus station near the railway station to Dali Ancient City. It’s 3Rmb and takes abt 1 hr. You can visit Shuan Lang Ancient town by taking a bus at the North bus terminal which is about 5km away and can reach there via didi for about 10rmb and takes about 2 hrs. There are many choice of food nearby the hotel and there are a lot of Muslim halal restaurants. So it’s suitable for Muslim friends.

Highly recommended. It's a 3-minute walk to the Erhai Lake. The room was upgraded to a sea view room. It was very clean. Free cocktails were delivered to the room. There were free fruits every day. When I left, I was given the hotel's own tea. It's really highly recommended. The location is perfect for viewing Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake.

The room was so clean and completely renovated. The location was great. The reception helped find the visiting places. When you are booking the hotel via this APP, make sure the information is updated! For the room I booked it was written that the room has a lake view but unfortunately, when I got my room it had a building view! I contacted “customer service”, and they gave me some “coins” in the APP as compensation. I will choose this hotel again if I travel to Dali.

I stayed in three B&Bs in Dali, and this one had the best service. I wanted to stay in a better place because I was traveling with my children. They all cost 700 to 800 yuan, but this one was the best. They would call in advance to confirm the itinerary and whether we needed to be picked up at the airport. We were sent to the airport, and they put our luggage in the car in advance to wait for us because we didn't have enough time. The environment and sanitation were excellent. The rice noodles for breakfast were so delicious that the children finished them. It was right by the Erhai Lake, but this B&B was in the city, much more convenient than the previous one, and there was a housekeeper group, which was very thoughtful. Take a look at the pictures of the rooms, and they are all smart controls. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.
