The route passes through what appears to be a construction site, possibly because the highway is still under construction. For the price we paid, we felt the service did not meet expectations. You're paying five-star hotel prices but receiving service that is more comparable to a budget hotel. That said, the cabin itself was clean and comfortable. The drainage was quite slow, although we assume this may be normal given that the cabins are located in a desert environment. Overall, we felt the room rate was on the high side and did not offer good value for money."

"Couldn’t be any closer to the Kubuqi Desert! Such a great view from our cabin - we were very lucky. Within seconds you are standing on the sand. The team picked us up from the tourist station, helped us settle into the room and helped us buy attraction tickets (with discount). They couldn’t have been more accommodating - especially as we had to do everything by translation apps. We had a fun afternoon at the park next door - it’s not thrilling and aimed more at families - but it’s an enjoyable thing to do. In the evening we ate in their restaurant, lots of choice and food was tasty. The rooms were spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. We watched the sunset and sunrise, and enjoyed a noisy thunderstorm in the middle of the night. Shower is hot and powerful. Breakfast was a small buffet option, and tasty. Some things to note - a kettle is provided in the room but no tea or coffee. There is also no fridge. They also only provide one use disposal towels - a proper towel would have been a better experience, especially as you need more than one shower for an overnight stay. Would recommend staying here - we had as close to a desert experience as you can with a touch of luxury. The staff made the experience even better!"
