Really lovely hotel in the Archipelago. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner outside overlooking the water. Very peaceful bay with two saunas directly on the sea. They also offer kayaking and paddle boarding. The food was excellent and generous portions. As we were there multiple nights they allowed us to use the whole menu for our prepaid meal plan and also offered a burger off menu, which showed thoughtfulness and flexibility. We also felt that reception were genuinely caring and helpful. Captain Blom’s suite is beautiful and the other rooms are fine. Small, but well equipped with everything you need and a particularly nice rainfall shower. The spa was lovely. Children are allowed in the morning, so we had fantastic family relaxation. There are three hot pools (two outside which are gorgeous with views) and one longer normal temperature pool. The saunas were the right temperature and we enjoyed the relaxation room with its fire and low lighting. Outside are sun loungers with a fabulous view and access to the seaside saunas. Other facilities include a pool table, shuffle board and tennis courts (they provide rackets and balls). Thank you!

A gorgeous serene escape in the beautiful archipelago. Every inch of the property is so beautifully crafted and maintained. Such a peaceful ambiance and exceptional spa facility. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Would have loved to stay longer. Great for a girls getaway or for a romantic couples weekend.

We stayed at this hotel for a friend’s birthday celebration to have a nice relaxing spa weekend. the sauna’s were not hot enough, the pools were luke warm/cold, and the spa area was ice cold. the room we had was 18C/ 64F which was freezing cold. we tried many times to adjust the temperature until we called reception and they said it wasn’t possible, so they brought us a portable heater, which was great until we fell asleep and since we didn’t push the button to power the plug in the middle of the night (that are on some kind of timer) the heater shut off and we were all freezing throughout the night. the worst part was that we were told upon check-in that we had been upgraded, only to find that our new room was above a wedding party that went on until 1 and the base was so loud we couldn’t sleep. i called at night and they said nothing could be done. upon checkout, we expressed our disappointment and we were told we were *emailed* which my friend did not receive, stating our room in another building had renovations and that we were going ot be moved to a new building, but this was not communicated at check-in, we were simply told “ you’re getting an upgrade woohoo!” overall it was unfortunate considering the amount of money that is paid. the least they could have done was to remove 3 alcohol-free drinks we had from the bill and that would have at least been something…

A warm oasis in the middle of the cold Swedish winter. I liked the premises with an Amazing SPA with several pools inside and heated outside. Spent their great hours just relaxing. Missing a jacuzzi though. The newly renovated rooms are really nice with amazing Kerstin Florian Products. But there are too small. Despite the quote 18-26m2, I believe more 15m2. A pity. The food restaurant is ok but could be better in terms of quality, service speed and choices. The breakfast was good but I missed the choice of a great cappuccino

Séjour de 2 jours au sein de cet hôtel typique suédois. Accueil agréable dans une décoration raffinée. La cadre est magnifique, au milieu de la nature. La chambre est décorée avec goût, avec une magnifique vue. La déception vient du spa. Déjà son accès est beaucoup trop cher (80€/personne) pour être au milieu de centaines de personnes au sein des infrastructures. Le petit déjeuner est plutôt sympa.

Wir waren vom 20. bis 23. Juli 2022 in diesem Hotel. Die Schären waren das Highlight unserer Südschweden Rundreise (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder 9 und 13). Lange haben wir nach einem romantischen Hotel auf den Schären gesucht, das nächste mal würden wir ein Häuschen mieten. Wir haben ein „großzügiges“ Familienzimmer gebucht. Beim Einchecken meinte die Mitarbeiterin (ironisch?), dass wir dort mehr Platz hätten. Das Zimmer erwies sich als so klein, dass wir nicht mal Platz gehabt hätten, einen Koffer auf dem Boden zu öffnen. Wir haben um ein anderes Zimmer gebeten, dass uns mit sehr viel Widerwillen und Erstaunen zugeteilt wurde. Beim Koffer Schleppen über die Stiegen (Kein Lift im Nebenhaus) half übrigens niemand. Noch immer winzig, aber so groß, dass die vier Betten gut Platz hatten, immerhin. Wir lebten aus dem Koffer, da es keine Möglichkeit im Zimmer gab (2 kleine Regalbretter und 4 Bügel) auch nur das nötigste auszupacken. Das Bad mit Dusche, einzigem Waschbecken und WC war abgemessene 2.3 m2 groß. Überschwemmung beim Duschen inklusive. Das schöne am Zimmer war die entzückende blaue Tapete und die Lage Richtung Wald. Meerblick gibt es in dieser Kategorie nicht. Wir wollten nach der Ankunft dann ins Spa. Auch hier Fehlanzeige: Kinder dürfen nur bis 12:00 Mittags ins Spa, der Eintritt kostet pro Person ca. 50 Euro on Top auch wenn man nur im Pool schwimmen möchte. Also kein Pool für die Kinder, da auch der Aussenpool nur über das Spa zugänglich ist. Wir gingen ins Meer baden, was wundervoll ist, was bei 18 Grad einfach nicht jedermanns Sache ist. Drum wäre der Pool eine nette Ergänzung gewesen. Handtücher fürs Meer gibts vom Hotel übrigens auch nicht, aber Bademäntel werden gestellt! Heute 22.7.22) haben wir es am Vormittag nochmals mit dem Spa versucht und sind auf eine extrem nette Mitarbeiterin gestoßen. Da das Spa nicht voll gebucht ist (vorher buchen!!) dürfen wir bis 15:00 bleiben und haben in Summe auch nur 900 SEK bezahlt. Das Spa ist wundervoll angelegt!! Wir gingen in die Brasserie essen, die wirklich wundervoll gelegen ist und das Essen auch sehr delikat war! Wir hatten alle Abende schon im Voraus einen Tisch gebucht, das funktionierte leider nicht einwandfrei und nur mit Diskussionen, warum wir draußen sitzen wollten, wenn das in der Reservierungsbestätigung auch so angeführt war. Das System war ausgefallen und das Essen aufs Zimmer zu schreiben war auch nicht möglich. Bediente Terrasse gibt es nicht, das ist Selfservice, Getränke sind drinnen immHaus abzuholen. In Summe wundervolle Lage, Restaurant romantisch, einzelne Mitarbeiterinnen sehr bemüht. Gesamthaft ein wenig lieblos mit Ausreißern, Service deutlich verbesserbar, kommerziell und abgesehen von der Lage sind die Kosten nicht im Verhältnis zur Leistung. Es ist ein schmaler Grat zwischen relaxeder Atmosphäre und 20 Minuten warten, dass jemand den Frühstückstisch von unseren Vorgängern abräumt….
