The housekeeping was excellent, and the staff were friendly, although limited English made them a bit hesitant to interact initially. The location is perfect if you want a quieter spot away from the nightlife, and you get stunning views of the ocean directly from your bed! However, there are a few things to be aware of.
The gym and restaurant air conditioning could use improvement, as the gym especially gets way too hot. The swimming pool is tiny -fine for a quick dip, but not really for swimming. Also, there’s no dedicated sunbathing area, which could be a downside for those who love to soak up the sun.
Soundproofing between rooms is a major issue-you can hear everything going on, which can be quite embarrassing at times. On the plus side, the housekeeping is top-notch, and the breakfast is generous, although the variety could use a bit of rotation over a longer stay.
Finally, the military base next door adds some unique local flavor with morning and evening bugle calls. I found it quaint and interesting - a real cultural experience, but it might not be for everyone. Despite these quirks, I’d definitely stay again for the views, breakfast service and the location.
