Hotel Agustos Cusco

This hotel was booked for us through EXOTICCA and was a disappointment. Itis located away from the city center we were advised to take a taxi if we wanted to go to the town center. The water isn't drinkable, we had to fix the toilet and our fridge doesn't work. Oh the noise.....until 12-1 am and it started again 4 am. The building is dingy and sad. Our room was ok but not inviting. There is no real place to relax in this hotel. The bar had no charm and felt thrown together and had an over whelming smelll of the food being cooked in the kitchen. We ordered Mojitos and they were mixed with sprite. The staff how ever were wonderful. If you are looking for a relaxing stay this is not the place!

Since we were on a tour, we didn't choose this hotel as it was arranged by the tour. All of our other hotels were very nice, but this one was not so good. First of all, it is located in an industrial area, so when we went looking for a place to eat after a late arrival, there were few options. The next day during our free time we walked around quite a bit looking for anything interesting but only found machine shops, hardware stores, garages, etc. As for the hotel itself, we found ourselves in a room with twin beds, and we prefer to sleep in the same bed, even if it is a double, but twins are too small for two people. It was surface clean, but details were lacking. The floor drain in the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, and we noticed it every time we used the toilet. We were only there for two days and nights, and on the middle day I wasn't feeling well so I opted out of the tour. The whole day staying in that room with the street noise was awful, and for one hour there was a fruit vendor with a loudspeaker walking back and forth along the block in front of the hotel, super annoying. The internet was really slow and kept stopping, causing me to have to reboot everything over and over. The breakfast buffet was fine, with lots of traditional breakfast foods, fruit, yogurt, etc., and although the second morning they offered only hard-boiled eggs, which I can't stand, they made me a couple scrambled eggs on request, which I much appreciated.

It is a 3 star hotel with a 5 star service! I was very limited with a time because I came to Cuzco to visit Machu Picchu and do the tours round Cuzco all in 2 days. Thanks to incredible organisation of the hotel and their stuff, especially Mrs. Wendy Arce and Mrs. Celia Mallcco Leon, me and my mom spent unforgettable time. We booked all the tours through Hotel Agusto's as well and everything ended up perfect! I would recommend it to everyone! It is a service of 5 star that you can trust 100%!

We had a corner room on the second floor with an intersection right outside. It was incredibly noisy. Apparently using the horn to signal other drivers is necessary. It did quiet down about 11-12. Dinning room was very nice. Breakfast was better than some. We were traveling with Exoticca. When we picked up guests from other hotels they were in much better areas for dinning and such.

Cheap and cheerful 10 mins from main square with cathedral and shops. Basic rooms with basic breakfast. 25 mins from airport so not a bad location. Busy place nearby and very traditional town with nice mall nearby. Some better hotels in main square where cathedral and Irish pub is situated.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Augusto’s! The Best Part about it was the staff, especially Zoranda, who was so accommodating friendly and welcoming! They let me switch my room when mine was a bit claustrophobic for Me because of the limited view and the new room had a spectacular view! I was and am so grateful for that! Though I did not eat there, the drinks I had were great and I enjoyed the authentic Cusco ambience of the Hotel Lobby and Bar area, as well as My Room! Al in all not a Luxury Hotel with too many amenities, but when you’re in Cusco, Peru you’re not in your room much anyway, I should hope! The thing is, Hotel Agusto will take great care of You, especially the receptionist Zoranda, who I loved talking to about Cusco, and Her asking me about my country and life! Such a lovely Person! I Highly recommend this Hotel for a lovely and convenient stay!
