Lovely hotel ! Very nice working space, modern & traditional at the same time. And a beautiful library open all day. It's super close to the city center. You can reach the plaza de armas in 5 minutes, the staff is nice and polite. Rooms are clean and the design is really well put together We loved it.

I had an excellent stay at Casa Tunki, with all the various staff making my stay pleasant and personal. With Alfredo I shared some good coffee and talks about barista - and hope that Casa Tunki will further expand their use of their excellent “library design coffee shop” on the first floor, the ladies who clean and maintain the hostel tidy at all times are most kind, and breakfast is served with attention to detail. The dorm is organised in a clever and modern way, with your own outlet, roller curtain for privacy, and bring a padlock to make safe use of the locker. Muchas gracias por todo Casa Tunki

We had a wonderful time staying at Casa Tunki! We stayed in a private room and utilized the unisex shared bathroom. Our beds and linens were comfortable and there was enough space in our room to lay out our suitcases as we needed to repack. There was also housekeeping services who made the private room when we went out to explore (I didn’t know there was housekeeping service so this was a nice surprise). The courtyard patio is beautiful. Breakfast is included and I highly recommend you attend! My favorite was the poached egg on toast. The coffee and pineapple juice was also wonderful. I was told that the chef sources organic ingredients from the Sacred Valley :) The only critique I have is that the wifi was a little weak in our room; the connection was stronger on the balcony. Not a big deal. Location wise, they’re on top of a hill and is a close walking distance to the central square. There are some cute speciality shops and cafes nearby the hostel as well. The staff was absolutely incredible. From check in, during our stay, to check out, we felt very cared for. They helped us carry our 20 kilo (43 lbs) suitcases up the stairs when we checked in as well as when we checked out. They were excellent communicators, helpful, friendly, and so kind. Overall, I throughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Tunki and would book here again the next time I come to Cusco!

Casa Tunki they were super kind with me and my friends , they really made me feel like I was home the whole time.. it’s a clean place, very nice people .. I really want to thank Ronnie , Jesica , Juan and Alfredo thank you guys for everything that you did for me and my friends..!!

Casa Tunki feels more like a hotel than a hostel! It’s very clean and quiet, and all the staff are very helpful. They have really nice private rooms, but I just booked a single bed in their dorm and I felt very comfortable. It’s kind of like a capsule hotel so once you’re in your bunk, it feels very private. Breakfast in included in your stay, and it’s very good! There is also a 24 hour concierge service that help you with taxis or checking your bags. The location in Cusco is very convenient for checking out the city. I was very pleased with my stay and would come back next time I’m in Peru!

I loved this place. The design has a vintage feel, thoughtfully put together. It felt like a boutique hotel rather than a hostel. The rooms, the bathroom, showers were new and very clean. I stayed in a private room with shared bathroom. The staff is extremely attentive and eager to help you with whatever you need. It was very helpful to me that I could just let them know at what time I needed a taxi to be waiting for me and didn't have to worry about finding one myself at 4am. They even helped my friends with a taxi even though they didn't stay here. Definitely recommend

A very relaxed hostel. The beds are comfy, the breakfast is tasty and Jesica, Norma and Alfredo are extremely friendly and helpful. The bathroom is shared and because of this the showers could have a little more privacy. Overall, a brilliant place to stay for a relaxing in Cusco.

This is actually my second time staying here, but my first review. To start with the location is really close to everything. If you go south two blocks you will be at Plaza San Francisco. San Francisco is where many local activities happen daily and on the weekends (street performers, bands, tribal dances, etc.). San Fran area is also where you will find the Cusco Theatre (very good tours visit Cusco), restaurants at good prices, barbershops, and clothing shops too. If you go west about 2-3 blocks you will be in the Plaza De Armas area. This is the most popular area in Cusco (bars, clubs, restaurants, museums). If you go southwest about 4 blocks you have the San Pedro market where you can buy almost anything under the sun. The owners are very personable and are a beautiful reflection of the Cusco people overall. Also, the staff speak very good English. They assisted me with places to go and how to get there, ticket buying for Macchu Pichu, restaurant recommendations, and helped me with tons of little things that saved me time and money. The facilities are very clean and very cozy. The mattress on my bed was so comfortable, and the sheets were always fresh. I enjoyed my breakfast every morning, and the coffee was good too. Overall, I loved my stay. I will definitely stay here again. It is for people that want a nice comfortable place to stay and are looking for great service at a good price. (in my humble opinion )

A nice familly runned hotel. Always nice and helpfull. Nice accomodation, clean, hot shower, cool place to chill after a trek or a visit of the city. Perfect location close to everything in the historical center. The food is very good too. I highly recommend.

It is the most amazing and beautifully designed hostel of Peru. The staff is so friendly and helpful it makes you feel at home. I would definitely recommend it. The food is also very nice and with a great price. It is very nearby city center. Also the beds that are like pod sleep very well and very comfy.

The restaurant is in a charming inner yard not far from the main square and the food is delicious - we ordered causa rellena, seco norteño and corn cake. We were also really satistfied with the friendly and attentive staff.

We spent 11 nights at Casa Tunki during late Nov/early Dec 22. Our stay was longer than expected owing to the protests in Cusco but we felt very safe and extremely well looked after at Casa Tunki. Ronnie, Maribel and team have done an incredible job of refurbishing the hostel. We stayed in a private room which met our needs perfectly. The dorm rooms and shared bathroom facilities also looked great. Breakfast was excellent and also available as a bag to go if you have any treks/trips with early starts. We ate at the restaurant several times and had fantastic food every time. The lomo soltado in particular was the best I had during our time in Peru. Highly recommend you eat here at least once during your stay in Cusco.

Finding this hostel was awesome. My trip to Cusco was last minute and I unknowingly booked a party hostel when I first got there, so after I was finished with the Inca Trek I was so glad to find Casa Tunki. All I wanted was a relaxing, quite, clean friendly hostel where I could get some sleep. I rented the private room, and it was spotless and clean, I felt like I was in a 5-star hotel. The breakfast was good and the staff were really nice. I think this place is newer (like it opened in the last 6-months) which is why not as many people have stayed here yet, but I would highly recommend. It was very conveniently located to Plaza de Armas too.

Tunki and the family who run it have been fantastic. I had an eye infection and they went out of their way to organise a taxi to the modern clinic where they had called ahead of time and organised my appointment. They let us check out late without a charge (because I was delayed in the hospital). Outside of that, Casa Tunki is very clean, the food is delicious (once the word gets out with how good the food is, there’ll be a long list of reservations as it’s at top restaurant standard) and the location is very good. We extended our stay and I would definitely come back again if I was in Cusco again. Thank you to the staff for being so kind when I needed it.
