Hotel Riu Touareg - All Inclusive

Grande resort in posizione isolata ( a 35 km dal paese Sal Rei ) ma su una spiaggia lunga e bianca .Tre piscine e lettini gratuiti ache in spiaggia con ombra di palme. Molta gente ma basta cercare di evitare gli orari più affollati per pranzo e cena ( il cibo è di media qualità adatto soprattutto a clientela nordica ). Ottima pulizia e cordialità del personale.

We spent 11 nights at this hotel. The resort is large, and the rooms are decorated in an African style. Unfortunately, the beds are old, and the mattresses were dirty and infested with bedbugs. We were bitten multiple times and have marks all over our bodies. We stayed in three different rooms, but the problem persisted. Other guests also complained about being bitten. We had to visit a doctor, which cost €110 including medication. There was also a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. On the positive side, the food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and hardworking, both in the rooms and the restaurant. The pools were nice, the beach was lovely, and the kids' facilities – including the club, mini disco, and children’s pool – were great. Everything could have been perfect if not for the bedbug issue. Please address this problem immediately – it’s unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one rated 5 stars. In reality, this hotel is closer to a 3-star standard. To those reading this: This is not a 5-star experience by European standards. The rooms are not luxurious like those you'd expect in countries such as Poland or Germany. Sadly, we will not return due to the old, dirty, and blood-stained mattresses crawling with insects.

Rust on toilet seat and shower. Veneer coming away from room door. Bedding dirty. Holes and turn blackout curtain. No iron and when and if you can hire an iron you don't get an ironing board and have to use table in room. Food same every day. Mash was more like custard. Needs updating. Wouldn't choose this hotel again. More like 3* than what we was told was a 5*

Our 12-day holiday at Hotel Riu Touareg, Boa Vista, was simply fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was consistently amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options that catered to every taste. And let's not forget the beaches – truly some the best we've ever seen! The pristine sands and crystal-clear waters were the perfect backdrop for a relaxing and unforgettable vacation. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for 2weeks overall this hotel was excellent I am coeliac informed the hotel beforehand and was told they could not guarantee cross contamination in the kitchen I only had to ask the manager and the kitchen would prepare something but their was plenty of food available the allergy cards were ok told you everything you needed to know .entertainment was really good worked very hard to keep you entertained pools and rooms need updating but apparently this is all being done this year pools were very busy with children so if you don’t like children !! go adults only we have no problem with them so didn’t bother us drinks and cocktails were good they have a white party and a neon party both fantastic overall we would go back again

This was our second time visiting this hotel and we absolutely loved it. We chose to upgrade to the adults only section and, at this time of year, was the best decision for us. It was a calm quiet area around the adults only pool and bar. It was kept clean at all times and the staff are friendly. Prosecco is available at this bar from 7pm each evening and there is a Prosecco party at midday on each Saturday. The evening entertainment at the main stage was good, a little cheesy, but it did the job and then we would go to the adults only bar afterwards as it is open until midnight. The food was good, nothing wrong with it. The Italian and Asian restaurant is a must! We booked these through the RIU app when we first arrived. We also used the RIU app to report that our toilet did not flush and this was resolved within 2 hours. We also used the RIU app to request the mini bar in the room to get refilled, however, this was ignored. The sticker on the fridge in the room it says it is refilled every 2 days and given that the app states you can request a top up 24hrs a day we were a little disappointed about this. It was full when we arrived on the Thursday, then refilled on the Monday and then the Wednesday. Bottled water was given by the maids each day. The towels supplied by the hotel were clean and we also used the ‘book swap’ in the little towel huts. Definitely look at doing an excursion with Andrew Worthington, you can find him on Facebook. We did the Turtle watching experience and what an experience it was! It was hot, ignore the apps, it was far hotter than they say. Take lots of sun cream! We also went for long walks on the beach, the sand is soft and it is hard going. The waves were huge and there was a red flag, but this did not bother us. No bed bugs, no flies, a couple of mosquito bites but nothing an antihistamine couldn’t fix. Overall we had a fantastic stay. Cannot wait to return!
