Sandals Royal Curacao

We enjoyed our trip to curaco. Room was clean and as expected. We were not far from beach and loved going to beach each day. Not a fan of the app versus paper copy of resort layout and activities. Food was great. Resort grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Loved food trucks!

Curaçao feedback & shout outs* Butlers are all super kind and wanting to give you the best vacation 😊 “Brendon” 🌟is lead, takes good care of us 😊 “Glen” 🌟is nice and is always happy to help. “ “Duvan” 🌟is energetic and darts around the resort to get things for us. *All butlers leaves surprise’s for us which is always nice to receive. 😊* The daily cabana is our favorite gift from the butler team; We love staying at the cabana (need shade as I burn easily) and enjoy watching the playmakers getting the guests having fun, we make new friends in the pool , talk with other guests in the very large pool. We appreciated the butlers help in securing the daily cabana, perfect for us. It seems Sometimes it can be a challenge from other guests. All 3 butlers have made our stay awesome! 🩵 Spa Had an amazing deep tissue 60 minute massage with Odalys 🌟she was firm and gentle, very thoughtful. Resort 💜Love this beautiful resort, staff, activities, beautiful ocean view, lots of boating to watch was great, resort grounds are beautiful to stroll thru. We are also sandals elite divers and love the dive team, very fun team, . Joelle 🌟aka big fluffy is the sweetest person, like a fish in the water and prepared to help other divers. He took care of me when sea sickness got me, big hug to him! 🩵. Roderick (little fluffy) the dive manager is a good guy, fun to talk with. I think a little recognition (comeback dinner?) for the elite divers would help the other guests become interested in diving. Also, quickly educate some easy ways guests can help the beautiful ocean that surrounds the island, to stay healthy. Like Reef sunscreen to use, etc. Fun ideas we started a to visit the restaurant bars, with a goal to taste each specially drink. So an idea we had,with the bars inside restaurants that may or may not need reservations, to promote some fun by having the signature drinks at the inside bars rated, a small card to write the score and then score & share the results. Best bartender gets a gift. Or cash bonus for making guests new drinks. Our 🌟ROCKSTAR is KEVOAN! 🌟 yummy 😋 Would be great to see Stargazing spots around the resort to enjoy the amazing evening sky. Future Looking forward to coming back in January 2027! 🎉

Great resort with loads going on. Sleep quality very good with very comfy bed and bedding. Service was terrific and staff friendly and helpful. Entertainment team excellent. Food options were great although service in a couple of the restaurants and bars was slow - seemed as though they needed more staff. It is a remote resort so the only way out is on a Sandals outing and they were expensive. The inlet adjacent to Sandals goes into a very large sea bowl called Spanish Water and we managed to get a tour on a Red Snapper boat which took two hours and was brilliant at a very reasonable price. The main pool got very noisy with DJ music but there are two other pools and a great beach so you can get away from it. Out of doors evening shows were exceptional. Well done you guys!!

We stayed at this Sandals location for our honeymoon, and the lack of customer service was beyond terrible. After searching for months to find the perfect place, it unfortunately turned out to be a disaster. It began with the staff misplacing our luggage, placing it in the wrong room where other guests had complete access to all of our belongings. The food quality was appalling: the sushi was terrible, the Greek restaurant was filthy and unappetizing, and the food trucks were subpar. Given the price we paid, this level of service was unacceptable. A worker in the crepe shop was preparing to close at 9:45 p.m. (they close at 10:00 p.m.) when we asked for a crepe and a coffee. In response to my husband's request, the worker asked if he would be the one to drive her home tonight since it was so late. I have traveled around the world and visited some of the most beautiful resorts; this one not only lacked customer service but also basic decency. We were not on our honeymoon to figure out how the staff will get home from work. Every activity was merely okay, with nothing leaving us impressed—in fact, quite the opposite. At the Greek restaurant, every morning breakfast was marred by tables covered with birds and bird droppings, which was not appetizing at all. I had read reviews before our trip, thinking people were just exaggerating and that it would be great. I was wrong. We made the best of it, but everything—and I mean everything—took two to three hours. We ordered room service the first night, and nothing came (which should have been a sign after they lost our luggage). Moreover, it was my birthday. They did upgrade our room, which, to be honest, felt like a slap in the face considering what we paid and what we were subjected to the entire time. What makes a trip is the staff, the food, and the environment overall—not just the room. I will cherish the best moments since I got to marry my best friend and spend time with him there, but nothing more, as our time was constantly interrupted by other things. Do yourself a favor and do not go here.

Traveling with my husband, this was our third Sandals visit (two at Grande St. Lucian)...our week overall was fantastic! We thought the food was terrific for the most part. We ate most breakfasts at Pietra which was a great buffet with an omelet station...perfect to get in and out on your own time. Jacqueline was the woman we saw most days at the omelet station...she was very adept at making the omelets and adept at dealing with some very rude customers at times (she deserves a shout-out just for that!). The food trucks were all delicious and we ate most lunches there. Butch’s is a must but the Strand gave it a run for its money! We had both a fantastic dinner and lunch there. All other restaurants were great (we were unable to get to Zuka). The entertainment team (the Playmakers) just killed it on a daily (and nightly) basis. These wonderful humans are out in the hot sun all day getting people into volleyball, pool volleyball, games, DJ pool games, etc.; and at night, they work the crowds and/or perform to a high level. Their energy is undeniable...I have to shout out specifically Elvis, Pencil, Leon and Dylan, and the performers Jefferson, Ruth, Ezekiel, Marcello, Francesca, and Natalie. My other shout-outs are for Leroy, bartender, at the pool bar; and Shelly-Ann and Lisette at the quiet pool bar. Please give them our personal kudos...they are all wonderful! We spent most days at the quiet pool and would make our way to the infinity pool and bar in the afternoon. We met some amazing people in that pool...so great how friendly most are! We did the snorkeling included in the resort (my husband went a second time), and saw lots of fish in the smallish area we were allowed. The two small improvements we could see would be: 1) to have more shade options available to ALL guests...it was incredibly hot the week we were there (to be expected) and we noticed after a few days that if you did not come down early to grab seats anywhere with an umbrella, you were out of luck. Of course, there are payable options (butler beds and cabanas) but whether you are one who has scrimped and saved to get to this resort or you are wealthy, one should not have to pay for shade when it is 102 in the sun; and 2) the beautiful lobby, where karaoke is held (we had large groups of people), needs some much better ventilation...even when all doors are open and ceiling fans are going, it can get almost unbearable! All in all, a wonderful trip at an amazingly beautiful resort!

Beautiful! Beachside butler rooms with large private pool. The butlers and staff were the better than any other Sandals we have been to, and we have been to a dozen. Lovely resort. I would suggest NOT taking advantage of the Mini-Couper car. We had a tire that looked like it had been slashed, and we had to pay $500 :(
