Met up with friends and chose the Royal Oak for an evening meal. The service from arrival to leaving was first class. The staff a great asset indeed to this hotel. In our 3 hour visit we all managed starter main, dessert, from a menu that has a choice for most anyone, even fussy eater me. Would happily tell others to try the restaurant. Great service, great food great value.

A beautiful hotel. Great parking. Fabulous views of the viaduct and sea view from our room. Room is so comfortable and bed comfy. Spacious. Breakfast is hot and cooked to order and plentiful. Thank you to Brenda, Maxine, Donna, Debbie, C-Jay, Ruby, Millie, Kyle and everyone else for making our stay very enjoyable and for all your help and advice. This is one fantastic hotel and Highly recommend 👌

What a lovely warm welcome we received from the lady at the Royal Oak we had booked for Sunday lunch. Wow, it was amazing. We opted for the carvery, fresh vegetables, lovely tender meat, and what a choice they offer on the menu something for everyone we will definitely be back Many thanks

Stayed there on Saturday, absolutely fantastic, room was spotless. Great staff, very friendly. Highly recommended. My friends and I had an evening meal, which was lovely. Will definitely be back. Perfect location. Lovely atmosphere xx

This was a Birthday treat, the lobster salad and Baked Salmon was perfect and loved every morsel. We had the most delicious Black Cherry Cheesecake with lashes of Cream. We then finished the meal with a Single Malt each. The Service was very friendly and keen to please. We left feeling satisfied and lucky to have found this Inn.

Fantastic meal tonight (Saturday). Eleven of us had a superb meal for a 50th birthday. Food was piping hot, plentiful and very tasty. The staff, Brenda, Ceejay and Scott, (plus another young member whose name I don’t know), were all very attentive. Nothing too much trouble, even cutting the birthday cake for us all. Top notch all round and nothing not to like. If you’re in Cullen, you’ll be well looked after at The Royal Oak.

Great overnight stay. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food served was excellent. Lots of Gluten Free options and at breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable with fluffy towels. GF biscuits for one of us even left in the room. Car park available and a short walk to the seaside. Couldn’t fault the place. Would definitely recommend.

A few words of praise for the lovely staff and the cleanliness. Only stayed one night but we were made to feel very welcome. Loved the standard of cleanliness, the fluffy towels, nice toiletries and plenty of complimentary tea, coffee (+ coffee machine), biscuits, hot chocolate and water. We had a nice meal in the pleasant restaurant and breakfast was very good. Thanks to Brenda, Fiona and Ruby and good luck to Zak new member of the team.
