"We stayed here as part of our G Adventures tour. The hotel is in a good location, it's central to most of the city and in walking distance for the majority of it. The rooms are fairly clean and a good size. Staff are very friendly, welcoming and will go out of their way to help you with anything. Breakfast was good and gave you the opportunity to sample Humitas, a typical Ecuadorian breakfast dish."

Hard working and friendly. The hotel is a colonial mansion with all the modern amenities. No need for electronics to alter the nostalgic look and feel.
