I want to start by saying that the welcome we received from all of the staff was wonderful. A personal experience and nothing was too much trouble - a really hospitable service that couldn’t be faltered and that you don’t get in many hotels/guest houses. We stayed in the family room which was extremely dated - however I can see past decor and design. The room and bathroom needed A LOT of TLC. The carpets were stained, the bath sealant was hanging off, dusty and rusty towel rail, no blind to the bathroom window etc. In a family room, water would have been welcomed as the children don’t drink tea and coffee. We did however ask at the bar and they quickly accommodated. Our neighbours beneath us kept us awake and woke us up early - not the hotels issue at all but awareness of how thin the walls are and some earplugs might be helpful here. We enjoyed the food in the Indian restaurant and again, staff were exceptional. Breakfast was a disappointment unfortunately and we ended up going elsewhere for breakfast on the last day of our weekend. Ingredients used appeared to be cheap (pale strawberry jam with not a sniff of a strawberry, the thinnest bread, watery yoghurt). The children enjoyed the cooked breakfast but it left a lot of grease on the plate. Unfortunately we would not make a return visit but know that with a little investment this place could be a real gem.

We had a lovely courtyard room with French doors opening out to the small courtyard. Nice large room and bathroom with grab bars by the toilet that were a great help. Very large comfy bed with plenty of hanging space and drawers for your clothes. I agree with some other reviews that the room could be updated a bit but it was clean.All the staff were excellent and very friendly and were happy to help out with anything. Sasa's Indian Kitchen was excellent, we ate there on 3 evenings and the food was amazing with such a good choice on the menu.

Thank you yet again for a lovely stay. The room was perfect, lovely comfortable bed. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and loads of it. As usual, all the staff were great! Thanks once again. The hotel is easy to find in the beautiful village of Crudwell, stayed here before and have always had a good nights sleep as it is so quiet and the beds are comfortable.

Great location for exploring the Cotswolds, with a fantasic pub just down the road. Breakfasts were excellent, and the owner's son, who also waited on us, was a real standout - friendly and attentive. The bar, being a freehouse, had a good selection on tap and a beautiful outdoor area to enjoy your drink. The hotel itself is nothing fancy, the bathrooms could be updated, but a decent base if you're after somewhere simple and well-situated.

Nicely situated for the Cotswold Airport. Good comfortable (single) room. Nice to see lots of electric plugs. No problem to charge up all your devices. Good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Not suitable for persons of reduced ability. Steep stairs to the rooms and steps everywhere.
