The accommodation is imaginative and cosy, with original art on the walls, creating a relaxing ambiance. We live only 5 minutes from the house, so are on hand. We clean and manage Bloomsbury House ourselves, assuring you of the highest standards. On arrival, if you wanted to, you could simply park up and relax and unwind for your entire stay. Sheringham itself is a great seaside town, boasting many pubs, restaurants and cafes, all within walking distance from our house. The shopping centre caters for most of our needs with its independent traders. Again, within walking distance you can discover a steam railway, swimming pool & gym, skatepark, museums, theatre, golf course, pitch & putt, a marvellous coastal path and country park walks. We often walk along the beach to Cromer, stopping at the the cafe at West Runton en-route.The property has off street parking for two cars at the front, and a delightful enclosed south facing courtyard garden at the rear. Set on two levels, the ground floor has a living room with comfortable furniture and SMART TV. The dining room is atmospheric and has an arch through to the galley kitchen. The kitchen is fitted with all the necessary items to make your stay a great culinary experience, when you are not tempted to eat out. There is also a shower room and utility room.The first floor has four bedrooms, two with king size beds, one with a king size and a single bed, and a small bedroom with twin beds. There is a family bathroom on this floor. All pillows and duvets are hypoallergenic, sheets, duvet covers and towels are cotton.If you fancy getting in your car for a day out, there is something for everyone not too far away, from a boat hire on the broads, to one of the plethoras of Country houses, Felbrigg, Blickling and Holkham to mention but a few. You could go 'up city', Norwich is a great day out, soaked in history. It hosts an array globally inspired restaurants, there are museums, theatres and cinemas, we often go there on the train.There is so much to do in this area it is a special place that attracts all generations. Bilbo's Cottage is set in the heart of the gorgeous seaside town of Sheringham in North Norfolk. It has three bedrooms (sleeps up to 7, ideally 4-5 adults and 2-3 children) including a downstairs en-suite, family bathroom, a kitchen/breakfast room, utility, large lounge/diner, conservatory, fully enclosed rear garden and parking for two cars. Set within walking distance of the award-winning Sheringham beach & town centre with all the wonderful array of eateries the town has to offer! Bilbo's cottage has been lovingly renovated to ensure it's a comfortable, spacious and stylish home to be in. Having a ground floor kingsize bedroom with en-suite should be very helpful for multi-generational families staying and the family room upstairs is ideal for flexibility when it comes to sleeping arrangements. The lounge/diner leads onto a lovely conservatory which overlooks the private garden, the kitchen/breakfast room is bright and airy (as is the whole cottage) and is very well equipped for cooking up a storm!! The addition of the utility and a separate WC/cloakroom is also convenient. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over and there is a kingsize bedroom again upstairs alongside. Outside the garden is very private, completely enclosed (ideal for doggies!) and there is parking for two cars outside the garage on the driveway.Sheringham is a delightful seaside town and a favourite destination for many. Our lovely house sits on an unadopted road with beautiful seaviews over the cliff. We have been hosting now since 2018 and have only had great reviews of 4 or 5 stars which we are very proud of and hope that if you decide to stay that you enjoy it as much as we do and all of our guests. Our house comprises of a dining kitchen, lounge, and conservatory on the ground floor with 3 double bedrooms and a family bathroom on the first floor. It has a large rear garden and ample parking at the front of the house for at least 4 cars.The House has WIFI, gas central heating from a combi boiler. The lounge has a settee and chairs, smart tv, and double doors lead to the conservatory again with a settee and chairs. The Kitchen has a table which can seat 6 people, larder fridge, small table top freezer, dishwasher, gas cooker, Nespresso Coffee Machine(only limited capsules so may need to bring your own) and a microwave. Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms, 1 of which is a slightly smaller double bedroom. There is a family bathroom with a bath, shower over bath, wash hand basin and toilet.Also I am told that the photos do not do the Seaview justice - They are amazing!!General InformationTesco Express is a 2 minute walk. There are steps down to the beach just in front of the house where you can walk along to the centre, or you can walk down the road into the village where there is a slope down to the Award Winning Beach. The Village is a 10 minute walk away with various pubs, Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shops and cafes. There is a Crazy Golf Course, Skate Park and a Park with Swings – There is a local bus service to surrounding villages and also into Norwich. On the way to Cromer in Trimingham, there is Woodlands caravan park which has a swimming pool, and a restaurant with carvery on certain days.Cromer is approx. 9 miles away from Mundesley and North Walsham is 5 miles away, both have large supermarkets and a large selection of shops and restaurants.
