Vitalclass Lanzarote Resort

When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly chap on reception who offered us a glass of wine.Our rooms weren’t ready but we were given a place to stow bags and were given towels so we could sit by the pool. Reception area was nice all staff helpful.We were all inclusive good selection of drinks and food plentiful and good choices.Our room was huge, kitchenette ,lounge and large balcony over looking the pool. The only thing I would say is the spa area is a tad dated on the day we used it there had been rain and the roof was leaking.Felt chilly in the pool area.

Recently got back from a long weekend at the Vitalclass Resort, which was a weekend very well spent. On arrival my girlfriend and I were made to feel very welcome and also gifted a free spa voucher which was much appreciated. Throughout the stay the staff were really lovely, rooms were kept clean, facilities were enjoyable and the breakfast buffet always went down a treat. Overall, definitely recommend to future travellers!

The room was modern, spacious, comfortable and honestly more than I was expecting ; sure there were a few things that needed touching up with some paint here and there but that didn’t bother me in the slightest The food , I could not fault , there was so much choice every day and the quality of the food on offer was amongst the best I have ever had on an all inclusive holiday The staff were amazing , as soon as I checked in they realised I was staying for 9 nights solo and every day they made the effort to say good morning to me . I sadly had an accident in the gym on my first morning (which was not at the fault of the hotel) whereby, I dislocated my shoulder and the hotel manager was excellent at keeping me calm, told me what I needed to take to the hospital, collected belongings from my room for me before I went into the ambulance and I could not fault the professional attitude and calmness to the situation , I felt at east to trust the staff at this hotel to go into my safe without me and this says a lot , thank you so much for looking after me Facilities - the pool areas are fab, the pool bar is lovely and the staff (especially ana) we’re great , the gym was well equipped although a little dated (not what causes my injury ) the spa was a lovely touch and really helped me to relax on a day when the weather was not so great My only criticism is that the entertainment could be worked on slightly ; the microphone announcements were very hard to understand due to the sound quality and perhaps a little more interaction was needed amongst guests , the evening entertainment was average Thank you for a wonderful 9 night stay , I will Be back again

Hotel: Rooms- We were given a room by kids pool initially on ground floor, the locks on the doors did not have double locks, they could be open by a push of a button, felt unsecure. Twin beds pushed together were very soft and rooms needed a good maintence deep clean, lots of marks on the walls. Reception were great at understanding my concerns about security and moved us to a room on a higher floor, very grateful for this. This room was immaculate, not a mark on the walls and bed was an actual king and mattress was firmer, very comfortable, with a jacuzzi (which made up for the kids pool being shut, I’ll get to that) If you are looking for these things I would recommend paying extra for the jacuzzi room. Upon moving to the new room, we did have an issue with the lock to the balcony and bedroom windows not working, but maintenance came at 10pm and rectified it which was great, just seems like something that would have been avoided with regular maintenance perhaps. Food- good, what I could eat was always flavourful, needs more allergy signposting. Did ask reception who said their should be signs by the foods, but these signs gave a basic name of the food, unfortunately nothing changed, chefs seemed unsure about what foods contained allergens and had to ask colleagues. It would be great to have allergen colour coded signs on the labels or even an allergy folder as I’m sure there are many foods I missed out on as I gave up asking. Kids pool- this was shut whilst we were there, we understand this was completely necessary maintence, I have included a photo of the progress of the works so hopefully this will rectify issues other guests have been having. Grateful to be moved to a room with a jacuzzi so this was fine for us, didn’t feel like we could use the main pools as I doubt they would want to be disturbed by kids, hence the kids pool being out of the way. The middle pool is the heated pool. Staff- always so friendly and helpful. Especially the lady with long black hair, I can’t remember if it was in a plait or not and she didn’t have a name badge, a personal heartfelt thanks goes to her. The staff are a credit to the hotel, absolutely 10/10. We were also able to keep our all inclusive benefits until the moment we left the hotel as our transfer was 3 hours after check out. Overall this is a lovely hotel but does need some routine/ repair maintenance which seems to be happening. Local area: Bus from Playa Roca 8 min walk from the hotel 1.40€ into Arrecife, open mall is great, main harbour is great to explore. Definitely recommend. The bus sometimes does seem to run on its own timetable but still is around every 20 mins regular. A 10 min walk down to costal path which is wheelchair accessible and beautiful, definitely recommend this way to get to costal teguise for the scenery. A 30 min walk to the main beach in costa Teguise, loads of great shops and eateries, the bus from Playa Roca also goes into costa teguise if you don’t fancy a walk

Coming to the end of an 11 night holiday in mid October with our 4 year old son and 8 year old daughter. Cannot fault the hotel at all. Staff are all very friendly, helpful and polite. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice every day although much the same each day. Lunch and dinner are more varied with lots of choice and we’ve all managed to have something and enjoy every night. Desserts are what you expect in the Canaries with little cake pots and bite size cream filled cakes but every night there’s a choice of Haribo type sweets and ice cream so the kids are delighted. Head chef always sounds and visible and happy to chat. Kids club open between 11-1pm and 3-5pm still with Marie and Veronika who are both brilliant with the kids and are hands on. They even had a party with games for our 4 year old on his birthday yesterday and presented him with a certificate after the kids disco at night. They also run the mini disco at 8:30pm which the kids love. It’s a bit late but at least the entertainment starts straight after at 9pm. African night was amazing with acrobatics, dancing, fire eating and the other nights so far have been ok but not amazing. Location is slightly out from resort with a 10 min stroll to the nearest supermarket and a further 15 into the centre of the main resort but that’s something we knew before coming and is a pleasant walk. If you prefer it’s only €4 in a taxi each way which is also fine. Overall great stay so far. Tons are huge with a kitchen area as well as decent sized balcony and good out setee for the kids which stays out all the time as it’s a big area. All in all we’re in the room very little anyway so so good. Lovely large bathroom too with walk in shower. Don’t come expecting 5 star, but it’s every bit as good as we’d hoped it would be. And didn’t break the bank booking either as we usually stay in Playa Blanka but pay a lot more Marie and Veronika made the holiday as the kids love them. 1st holiday we’ve had some ‘us’ time in a long time. Kids pool could do with a refresh but slides are great and the area is clean and shallow and warm for them. Main pool is thankfully heated as this time of year although warm if the suns not out it’s chilly after leaving the pool but with it being heated makes it a pleasure to play in with the kids. Would we book again…….. absolutely. We read a lot of negative reviews before coming and have been really very pleasantly surprised as it’s great. We always go with an open positive mindset and believe the holiday is what YOU make it. Do go, enjoy and have a ball.

Absolutely love this hotel.im a solo traveller, its perfect for me. My hotel room was clean, tidy,regulary cleaned daily. Food choices were different everyday,i love the food. So much healthy choices. I will return for sure. This has been my 2nd time going. Its in a nice peaceful location. Its afew km's from the town centre but i love walks and enjoy the gorgeous views. See you next year
