Barceló Corralejo Sands

The hotel is nice and new and the suites wre spacious with good amenities. Theres a mini fridge witb water and tea and coffee facilities. the bedrooms large with a chair and a huge 65 in flat screen. Only 2 english channels but u can take a fire stick if u have one. We went half board and food is gery good plentiful even if u are a fussy eater. The AI in my view was not worth the money as its cheap to wat and drink out 2.5 € for a beer €15 fir a meal. The entertainment was ok but go out most nights. Beds see are big and comfy. Pool is spacious and sun beds are always available and we saw no loungers being grabbed first thing it was all quite civilised. Air con is average but the hotel itself is on a back rd literally 2 min walk to the lively strip in corralejo. Taxi from airport is €57. Overall a lovely hotel in a lovely resort. We will definitely come back. Good value ror money with staff who can speak english well. Hotel is immaculate throughout and staff are friendly and helpful.

Just returned from a 10 night stay here, we had a fabulous time. The staff were all fantastic, the staff in the pool bar were particularly helpful and took time to show us the menus and explain how everything worked. The animation team were all friendly, we enjoyed the aqua gym, daily challenge and the evening entertainment. This hotel is perfect if you want a clean, relaxing break where everything is taken care of. If you want all day / evening entertainment and a lively bar area, this possibly isn't the hotel for you as it is a bit more relaxed but it was perfect for what we wanted. Buffet food was good quality with lots of choices, what you would expect in a buffet with theme nights most nights. Pool bar menu was excellent. The theatre bar was also great with lovely cocktails. We will definitely be returning. Thanks to all for an enjoyable holiday.

We decided to return this year after visiting in 2024. The location is excellent within a short walk of the Las Palmeras shopping centre, five minutes to the closest beach and fifteen/twenty minutes from music square and the old town area. A warm welcome awaited us on arrival at reception, check in was quickly completed and our prior request for a quiet, non ground floor was granted. Our room was perfect in every way with plenty of space and a wonderful, comfortable king size bed. Toiletries were provided as were dental kits, towels and pool towels. The large rain shower with additional showerhead was very satisfactory. A safe was provided in the room at an additional cost. We stayed on a half board basis (breakfast and dinner). The breakfast buffet was plentiful with hot and cold choices. I particularly enjoyed the freshly prepared fruit salad. A different themed evening dinner was provided each night of our weeks stay. Again there was plenty to choose from and I would find it difficult to make a negative comment as the food was delicious ,constantly checked and refilled when required. Any drinks or lunches were put onto your room bill, payable on checking out. The pool area and gardens were constantly being cleaned and tidied, the whole area was immaculate. We thoroughly enjoyed our second visit and hope to return next year.. A definite recommendation!

We have stayed in Corralejo many times, however, this was our first stay at Barceló Corralejo Sands and it did not disappoint. Staff: regardless of their role within the hotel were fantastic, they were always smiling, would say hello, we found them all very helpful. Food: we stayed Half Board and the food was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent, so much choice and the cooked food was hot and cooked well. There was a live cooking station were bacon and eggs were cooked along with omelettes cooked to order. Evening meal was always a themed night. Again great choices, it has to be a first that we have not walked into a hotel restaurant at night and walked back out because the food was rubbish. Even a fussy eater would be able to eat here & they do veggie options. The Room: we stayed in a suite. Room was very spacious, beds were very comfortable with 3 different size pillows. Huge TV with BBC1, 2, 3 and ITV (and in English). Bathroom was spacious, shower was amazing. Towels were great and big bath towels that actually cover all your bits. Balcony again was spacious lots of room and we overlooked the entertainment at night which was always great. Fridge in room (advertised as a mini bar). Safe in wardrobe which was really easy to use and great not having to carry a key round with you all holiday (safe was 3€ p/d and a €10 deposit). The hotel was exceptionally clean and all staff work extremely hard from morning to night to ensure that the hotel and its grounds are maintained to an exceptionally high level. Swimming Pool is large, salt Water pool that isn’t too cold to get into. Sun loungers there were days when there were lots available and some were there wasn’t any by 09:05am but hey ho I think it’s the same whatever hotel you stay in and didn’t spoil our holiday if we couldn’t get a sun lounger. I certainly wasn’t queuing every morning to fight to get one anyway. Fabulous holiday overall, loved the hotel and everything about it. Without a doubt we will definately return.

Another lovely stay at the Corralejo Sands. The hotel is in a great location and is kept spotless in all areas. The hotel offers a relaxed atmosphere and is a great place to unwind. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The restaurant staff were extremely good in explaining which foods my wife could eat as she has a garlic allergy. There was always plenty of choice and the food was hot and replenished regularly. The hotel offers a relaxing time

We booked last minute and after reading reviews thought it was going to be good but wasnt expecting it to be as great as it was. The hotel and facilities are spotless, with great cleanliness in the rooms as well. Lots of day time entertainment for adults and children alike, the children's splash pool and park are great and separate from the main pool. We went all inclusive and love the fact the lunch time menu was a la carte, the buffet breakfast was a 10/10 every day. The dinner some times lacked in variety and the main protein which was cooked in front of you but for everyone was mostly over done but all food was still tasty and enjoyable. Service is great, and staff were really good with kids. Location is amazing, with a short 10 minute walk to the old town marina. 5 minutes to one of the beaches and 5 minutes to the main strip with shops and bars.
