Well, this place sure needs an update, to say the least. My "Executive" King Room appeared to be like any other room in the hotel. Old carpet and drapes that were full of dust. The toilet/bathtub room and sink area probably date back to the construction of the hotel decades ago. It took forever for water to drain from the tub/shower. The hotel website pictures showed two chairs for the executive king but only one was present. Room was promoted as being on the private business floor with access to the private guest lounge. Well, there's nothing exclusive about the floor (#2). Just another stop on the old as the hills elevator. Anyone could access it. Room card doesn't work in private guest lounge. Has to be opened by staff. Then you discover the room is just a place to sit, with a few lounge chairs/couches and tables with chairs. Plus a microwave. There are no drinks like coffee, pop, juice or food like granola bars and fruit available for guests of the "business floor" and "guest lounge". Total scam. Never received maid service in the room and hotel would not send up toilet paper to the room when requested. Customer service is lacking and odd. Never received an apology or explanation about the lack of maid service. However, the hotel is in a great location, the room had a comfy bed and the A/C worked nicely and was not too loud. If you have to stay here, just get a standard room. I would stay elsewhere, if a spot is available in one of the other local hotels/motels.
